That's not how it works. The "coin" itself doesn't have a representation other than a number in a public ledger, much like fiat money on a bank account. Where the math comes in is twofold:
You have asymmetric encryption as proof of ownership. Your public key is on the ledger, connected to your balance. With the private key you can sign transaction that can be verified with the public key.
And you have hash functions as proof of work. The blockchain is the collective history of all transactions. Since it's distributed you need some sort of way to build a consensus and to prevent someone from just recalculating the whole thing from the start. This is why every new block has to be signed by solving a very hard math problem that needs a lot of computing power to solve. First you assemble all transactions from the last few minutes into a block. Then you hash the block. The problem to solve is finding a hash that has a certain number of zeros at the end by appending random strings to the block. Given the nature of hashing functions this requires brute force, which introduces the "work" in "proof of work". If you find a hash with enough zeros you pass the now signed and hashed block around the network and everyone can verify that you solved the problem. That block is now part of the blockchain.

The technology is built to literally waste power on completely useless math problems. It's utterly insane and not backed up by any real-world value.

If you actually care about the code AFAIK all the code for bitcoin is public, so just go digging around for full wallets and miners.
