banks use vostro nostro accounts, this means they have to have money sitting idle in other banks. for example if bank [A]USA wanted to send money to Bank [B]Mexico. Bank A would need to hold Mexican peso's in bank B. There are Trillions sitting idle in these accounts. XRP is on demand liquidity meaning these vostro nostro accounts don't need to be used any longer freeing trillions.

You could say they will just issue their own crypto. This is useless
1 No one would trust them not to manipulate the order book
2 It would be just another walled garden stablecoin that can't connect to other banks who would issue their own crypto as well.
Ripple created the ISO 20220 Standard that all banks and money transfer use today.

you don't seem to understand the logic here. XRP is different from other coins, with other coins your goal is to hold and not sell so that the price rises. with XRP no one gives a shit if you sell or buy, we prefer you sell so that its price can go lower that way you can accumulate more. the price of XRP is not dependent on someone holding but by being the new Global Currency.
