I got a prompt that said "are you sure? there are no other buyers for this option"

Interest rates are low, means banks are going to make less and invest less, but that's okay, they are not the main movers of the economy (or are they). Similiary capital cost for many companies will go down, which is good for debt burdened businesses like AT&T, okay they will have 0,5% higher margins. That's fine.
Then you have the opportunity cost for investors who decide whether they should invest in bonds (now yield less than inflation) or stocks that yield more than inflation but have much higher risks. S&P 500 P/E stands at 22 right now with average being like 15, but that can be elevated in a low interest environment, okay. Current S&P dividend yield is 1,98% which is fair and seems not cheap or undervalued considering it's nearly double of what you could make with bonds and there are also buybacks.
And now some businesses (airlines, food chains, insurance companies, small mortar and brick stores) are going to suffer some losses due to the beer virus. That means they are going to earn less and give back less. Any reason to pay the current price now? I think it should be cheaper.

11 year cycle of the sun going from low intensity to high intensity affecting agricultural output.

We are at the end of the solar cycle but this one is still not ending

Basically at the third chart here

http://cosmicrays.oulu.fi/

you can see the cycles , when the chart is going down it means the sun is stronger and less rays from outside the solar system can be detected because they are pushed by the sun rays.

Notice this cycles also coincide with the economic realities, the 70s are also a case of a a long time of weak solar energy.

Think of it as an "orchestrated" crash. There are forces behind "this" happening. What happened in 2008 will be the opposite of what's happening now, but the method is still the same: fraudulent numbers. The ones on top already sold so now they're forcing us to sell so that prices go down and they'll get to buy the crash. Bears are cashing in on the crash thinking they're so smart for predicting this crash when the crash is actually a fake one.

Highest voter turnout especially for Republicans. Also keeping them alive so the rich ones can get taxed to death is a much better alternative than letting them die and having their kids inherit their wealth. That happens, you only get the estate tax upfront and then you have to hope the dumb kids put the money somewhere it's taxable. More likely, it'll all go almost immediately to consumer bullshit and pad a bunch of companies that have already been given the greenlight to avoid taxes to the extreme. All the taxable wealth would be gone almost immediately and the government would legitimately be left bending the knee to Bezos within a decade because there's no more tax money to fund the troops.

Hey so what is looking good for dividend investing?
Should I just put more into these positions? Hold for more of a dip to get into something bigger and older?

I have about 2k left.
Although I might just hold that to get a chunk of capcom once the money transfers have all settled. I want a piece of that company so bad.

Oh I don't have any real strategy other than find companies that have survived many different downturns and I don't have any reason to believe are going anywhere soon, dump money in them, and get dividends.
Hopefully they pay it out quarterly or annually.
I might have had a unique problem of having 10's of thousands of dollars sitting in a checking account just doing nothing for me other than devaluing with inflation.
Since I'm going to make more money than I spend since I don't really spend much in my day to day and that's not even being careful about my finances I decided I might as well push it into stuff that makes the money actually return something for me. This return would be higher than any interest rate I can get in a savings account.

The ultimate goal is to have a passive income stream that can cover those expenses (common bills, ultimately including rent) and give me that much more money to just push into it. A snowball effect that can potentially give me a safety net should I lose my job or something.
It won't be built over night but I decided to take this downturn to get into things.

That's really it. Oh and I will take some change to play with stuff that isn't really in the strategy...so like AMD right now and game companies that I just happen to like.

I'm new as of Monday of this week and I've been asking for advice.

AT&T gives out quarterly
I also went in on cisco
QYLD from a suggestion (that I think i'll sell out once the market swings back up)

Cypress emiconductor as well.

I actually have about 2K that I've yet to trade that I'm waiting to "clear" in the account proper so I can buy up some foreign stuff like Capcom.

I'm going to clean/lean my portfolio as I go. Probably go more into AT&T and a bunch of other quarterlies bit by bit.
AMD I'm holding just because I expect great things from them after this virus business is done.
