If you're a EU fag, you can just move to Portugal, file a simple "registration certificate", live there for 6 months (rent for a city apartment is probably around 400 euros per months, so 2400 for 6 months), then cash out tax free? Let's say you have half a mil in crypto right now thanks to LINK or whatever. Here in France, there's a 30% flat tax on crypto, that means I'd have to pay 150k to cashout. I could buy an extra house with that, that's fucking insane, and for what, to pay for shitskin gibs. Would avoiding tax be as simple as just enjoying the Portuguese beaches for half a year? Once I cash out my plan is to fuck off to SEA anyway, but visa regulations seem like a clusterfuck, compared to how easy it would be to go to Portugal thanks to EU. What exactly is the catch or best strategy here?

>> No.17546488

>>17546401
It can't be that easy, can it?

>> No.17546540

Rent would be a bit higher but i don't really see a problem with this. Maybe some of your gains would evaporate during that 6 month period because you cant cash out,but in the end you should still be able to make good gainz.

I'm already preparing to doing this. I'm in Spain and we are cucked hard with taxes so I'm already looking for some cheap houses in Portugal. I have liquidity so I'm thinking about buying one instead of renting

>>17546401
malta is same thing, tho rent is more expensive, and it only applies to income not spent in malta

>> No.17546676

What if you use a local exchange like coinspot in Australia. Should I transfer my coins then cash out in Portugal?

it doesn't just apply to cashing out btw.
one thing you can do is move to malta or portugal, "reacquire your crpyotcurrency", e.g. swap over back and forth in an exchange, or just write a contract with a friend where you exchange your crypot bakc and forth with him, then you can move to wherever you want and your "acquisition" price will be the one you reacquired them at. you have all that crypto and you only pay taxes on the price you sell above the one it had while you were residing in the tax heaven.

It sounds good, maybe talk to an actual professional as well to get a better opinion. My question is why would you leave Portugal for some SEA shithole?

>> No.17546773

Sounds like a good way to hodl while lowering your burden. This shithole has done nothing for me so I don't mind cashing out overseas

you can't retire in Portugal with 500k, in SEA you can
asian pussy
would rather be upper class in SEA than middle class in Europe, a country being a shithole is relative to how you can afford to live

Used to work in sea and above 12k a year puts you in upper middle class at least. Reminder that most people make less than you think and the local food is cheap. Tinder is there now too so you'll have no problem meeting people if you're white.

It doesn't matter what class you live in if the country is polluted. It doesnt matter how much you earn if it's difficult to get around and buy stuff. It doesn't matter if I can't take my kids to the park for a play. Most sea countries are disconnected from their environment because farming is seen as something to get away from while focusing on polluting the environment through daily practice. Its just dirty mostly outside the hotels and offices and fancy apartments. I want to live in a real house with a front and backyard. You just can't do that in sea unless you live in the country away from the work. Oh and most of their white people you meet are dip shit English teachers that are so normie you'd kys honestly.

I'll level with the anons reading this and dreaming of living in Asia. Japan is clean but you have to walk up stairs everywhere you go. Subways and metros and whatever. Everything is orderly and you'll have to fit and behave like them. Nice for a visit but it gets old quick. Vietnam is good but the traffic rules can be confusing. Also you are seen as a wallet especially to the police who pull you over for donations all the time. Corruption is rampant there too. Thailand is similar but there are more cars and shitty tourists. Cambodia is fun but difficult to do business there because honestly there's not much. Singapore is strict on just about everything even more than japan. Indo and Malaysia have indian ethnic groups which suck because street shitters are awful in general.
Worst problem for me was the lack of protein I was eating because of the smaller sizes of meat not to mention the amount of oil they use in their cooking.

We are genetically similar to the Southern French, Northern Italians and of course the Spanish. We also share affinities with the Basques and distant connection to the Sardinians. Make of that what you will.

IT WILL NOT WORK LIKE THAT

>Irrespective of nationality, you will be considered to be resident in France for tax purposes if one of the following criteria is met:

>Your permanent place of residence is in France, i.e. your habitual place of residence or that of your family (spouse and children).
>If you have dual permanent residence, the center of your financial and personal interests is in France.
>If your center of interests cannot be determined, your primary place of residence is in France (residence in France for more than 183 days in the same year).
>In the absence of any other deciding criteria among the above (primary place of residence or no place of residence in either country), your tax residence will be in France if you hold French nationality.
Failing which, the tax authorities in the two countries may be asked to decide upon your tax residency.

You will not be granted non-residence from France. The French tax authorities will argue that your center of interests are in France. Now stop making these retarded tax threads. The only way to avoid tax in Europe is to move to a tax free or low tax country (e.g. romania, not fucking portugal), get a job there and live a normie life there for like 2 years, and only after this you cash out
