You may have heard that the more "progressive" arm of the Democratic house has been going after tax havens in places like Puerto Rico and the Caymans. They basically want to control every penny you are allowed to touch. According to a new bill drafted by AOC et al, producing digital assets claiming to tied to the value of a US dollar [any "stablecoin"] will be considered counterfeiting and punishable as such pending an amendment to 7 C.F.R. § 181918 (2011) c - This will affect "de-fi" and any "physical or asset backed cryptocurrency" - We need to fight this with everything we have so it doesn't cut the coming de-fi revolution and any hope of a GBR off at the knees.

Interestingly, I have talked to a state, not federal, securities fraud prosecutor, they get things handed down to them from the SEC. They start with the founders and fan out to all major partners that are involved in the promotion and dissemination of said product or asset.
