Kek i was unironically going to start an xmr general, this thing is truly about to take off, hashrate is growing massively meaning people are meaning and as the hashrate increases fast as fuck due to using consumer hardware the base mining cost rise too.

If someone decides to pump this shit to 10k in a week the hashrate will increase so fast due to using consumer hardware that the base mining cost will reach 6k the same week.

They said the same about btc and the last sec chainanalysis report showed only 1% of crypto is used for illlegal shit.

Show me that drug dealers and pedos use xmr give me 5 examples that don't involve the typical dark web degenerate shit sites selling stolen accounts and credit card.

listen buddy. bitcoin is king and will always be king. alt coins are all shit except MAYBE xmr and i hold 90% btc and 10% xmr as a back up to the decentralized digital gold.

Don't you dare go around shit talking the king while you have a more centralized dev group and less hash rate please.

Bitcoin maxi pads have no answer for chain analysis. As that tech improves, Bitcoin will turn into a surveillance coin. Fuck all of that.

XMR is king and its where the smart money is going. It is the only fungible crypto.

I know this is a shill thread but anyways: the monero tech stack is really cool but I think most chains will adopt zkSNARKs into their tool set and be able to provide much more privacy. tornado.cash is a great example on Ethereum. you still have to know what you're doing to not fuck up anonymity though, but it is great progress.

When bitcoin first began, it was talked about in exactly the same way that Monero is talked about these days. They say it will be banned...they say it's only used by drug addicts and pedos...they say that it will never amount to anything...they said that only evil countries like North Korea will use it etc. The reason there is a push back is because their ideologies are being challenged. If you want an actual decentralized form of digital cash, you need it to be fungible. All of this is insanely bullish because everybody knows the most powerful crypto is the most private, and in that regard, Monero is king and it isn't even close.
