I don't understand it.
The technology seems solid, a widespread and efficient coin. If bitcoin was used to process all payments in the world the computing and electrical requirements would be physically impossible! I get why bitcoin is still valued and used today, don't get me wrong. But what I don't understand is why ripple can't stop falling when its more useful than any of the shitcoins that are comparatively priced or even more expensive.

Is it something wrong with the tech?
Or is it exclusively market factors?

Retail is fed up with no price movements so no one is buying it anymore. It’s that simple.

Is it so hard to understand that XRP is not crypto? It's centralized garbage where jews can dump on you whenever they want.

It's shit. Usefulness is questionable and it's hardly scarce. You may as well invest in Lego bricks on the off-chance somebody will pay you a three-figure sum for a yellow 4 stud block.

not going so well though, because their greed to cash in on the token (de-risk) is too much
they are jewing themselves while they jew you

Never underestimate the sheer retardation of the market, friend.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm new at this and now I'm glad I didn't buy into it. I didn't know it wasn't even considered a proper crypto. I'm just looking for some type e-money that has future prospects based on something other than just people fucking around in the markets. It has to happen eventually right?

Well, there's your answer. XRP was dumped on every single normie who got into crypto in late 2017/early 2018 in huge masses (literally MSNBC told them how to buy it). Many sold, but a shitload are still holding and selling into every pump to get out

If you want a coin to moon, there needs to be a small number of whales holding the vast majority of the supply so that not only is it worth their time to pump it, but also so it's easier because there's little sell pressure. This isn't the case with XRP

I've been reading about Link and I'm still not sure why an intermediary token needs to be used for what they are trying to accomplish. Then I read all these posts on /biz/ from Link owners that really look like they are trying to trick people into buying it for laughs. I'll keep researching I guess, thanks for the suggestion.
