Problem is most of the gains are coming from SPCE and AMD. I have a little more long-term confidence in AMD, but I'm aware SPCE is years away from any serious growth, and that's assuming they pivot to revolutionizing air travel and not just being an amusement park for celebrities.

What other companies/ETFs look good? Is anyone else buying SMH? I also have about 30 shares of VOO.

People are dying in the hundreds, if not thousands, daily - in Wuhan alone. If they're okay with these numbers, then everybody is fucked.

Just as they thought that releasing a R Naught of 4.06 (aka how many new people one infected is infecting on average) is okay - and now they're suggesting that 4.7 - 6.6 is more realistic. Remember, that shit is exponential. For comparision, the flu has a R Naught of 1.28.

Investors feel like this is at least a Intel level chart, Intel went up 16% for earnings and then fell back a little. Still possible for NVDA to see another 7% from here if this is correct.

Also some zealots believe that because of NVDA live supposedly being way better than Google Stadia, with the amount of virtually useless Macbooks out there who could suddenly play videogames all buying in we could be talking extra billions for Nvidia.

If this is true there could be a Tesla level hypebeast fiesta that takes NVDA to 450 at least.

CEFL/CEFZ pays a big yield and is pretty stable for what it is (leveraged ETN). Say I contribute $100 a month into my Roth. I can buy 100 shares of CEFZ in my Roth, and those will pay let's say $22, and so now I consider that $22 to be a part of the $100 and send $78 to meet the $100 contribution goal. The yield is protected from taxation, and the 100 shares can be sold at any time and those dollars pulled out for use doing something else. This all assumes CEFZ doesn't tank, but it's incredibly stable all things considered.

That has been debated for at least decades now. If you know the stocks very well and believe that they will be more profitable than the rest of the market, there's no issue with that. However, most people shouldn't try to pick stocks because they're retarded and are better off investing in ETFs.
>2) Is it wise to be holding any energy stocks at the moment?

riteria for outbreak control. Each curve represents a different scenario, consisting of a combination of interventions and a choice of parameters. For each scenario, if a given infectious agent is below the R 0–θ curve, the outbreak is always controlled eventually. Above the curve, additional control measures (e.g., movement restrictions) would be required to control spread. Black lines correspond to isolating symptomatic individuals only. Colored lines correspond to the addition of immediate tracing and quarantining of all contacts of isolated symptomatic individuals. The black (isolation only) line is independent of distributional assumptions made (low or high variance), whereas the colored (isolation + contact tracing) lines match the variance assumptions made in Fig. 1 (red = high variance; blue = low variance). The efficacy of isolation of symptomatic individuals is 100% in A, 90% in B, and 75% in C. Contact tracing and isolation is always assumed 100% effective in the scenarios in which it is implemented (colored lines). Curves are calculated by using a mathematical model of outbreak spread incorporating quarantining and contact tracing (see main text).
