not trying to be mean but sure, YOLO it in, $400 is nothing. i know nothing about it but assuming it's a penny stock as long as you go long and not short you should be okay (odds are always way better going long instead of short on memes). if you lose you'll probably lose half or $200 but if you win you should be aiming for at least double your money, if not 3x+

>If so how much/when
When you feel comfortable enough to buy it. There's still risk of further correction, but that shouldn't matter much to you if you're holding it long term as an investment. You can always buy some now and then buy some more later if there's a dip. It's the long term direction that should be your concern, not the current price.

>crash on monday

why? also it depends on your time horizon, i believe ideally you want to get in on red days and take profit on green days, and today is looking pretty green so far. $48 is a good place to get into AMD long term, $46 is rock bottom and probably won't get there again (because we probably won't get to such high levels of panic as when the coronavirus news first came out, again). so if you were afraid you could take a half position at $48 for AMD and buy another half position at $46. my price target for AMD is in the $55-60 range, i got in around $50 and held through earnings like an idiot but i've since averaged down to $49 and took some profits today at $50 to derisk myself so I'm doing well.

i basically like to buy and sell half of my position over and over while holding the other half for whenever the big pumps come. keeps my average price in a good place usually. might try doing it in 1/3rds at some point.

I don't think that nCoV is going to be that much a problem for AMD, even when everybody else gets fucked, despite China being a big market for them. AMD has no problem selling their shit - their main problem is the limitation of wavers they're getting from TSMC. That's also why they can so consistently meet earnings in the last few quarters since they're selling fucking everything. The only thing that can truly fuck them is TSMC reducing their wafer supply - at least as far as nCoV is concerned.

As long as that doesn't happen, buy any fucking dips you can.

Short term the stock price may rise but long term you're in for a beating. Every single EV Ford produces will lose the company money. They cannot be competitive with Tesla and make money at the same time, their margins are too low for that. They'll have to try to transition to EVs while losing billions on top of their debt. Another thing to keep in mind is that their dealer network refuses to sell EVs because they don't need nearly as much service as ICE which is their primary income. The dealerships will have to further increase the prices just to stay afloat. Ford is unionized as well but EVs require less people on the factory floor. They won't be able to shed jobs fast enough and will lose money there as well while Tesla keeps automating their factories.

Would you seriously want a Mach-e over a Tesla? Do you think the average consumer does? There's zero reason to buy a Ford EV outside of wanting the ability to store wings in your frunk.
