Well son of a bitch. After watching what Pam Blondi had to say to the senate, I can't believe a single person would vote that President Trump abused his power by asking the Ukrainians to look into the whole Biden thing. I mean it's pretty obvious some kind of quid pro quo took place when you look at how Kerry's Son's former room-mate and Biden's son got paid millions so the oligarch could get 10's of millions unfrozen from his accounts in the UK and his company could collect a hundred million from US tax payers, but Biden had to go over and get the prosecutor looking into a bribery allegation fired or he wasn't giving up the billion....

Bars are allowed to serve any % beer as long as they do not serve food AND you cannot see anyone eating food. This creates a surreal situation where there's one business with two names connected, you can go to the bar and buy (expensive) full strength beer and liquor, or you can go around a corner/through a curtain and get food with weak beer. If you bring a strong beer around the corner and try to order food they have a bouncer stop you. Every year they give out a certain number of liquor licenses (usually to expensive/fancy restaurants) that permits them to serve full strength alcohol with food. This law was supposed to be ended ~5 years ago, but most places still work like this.

Virginia is the opposite. Bars are technically illegal. To serve alcohol you MUST sell food, and your food receipts must be a certain percentage of your sales to keep your alcohol license.

AMRN is extremely likely to at least double in price within 2 years, and that's probably pretty conservative. People expected the price to rise based off the continued string of good news, but it didn't. So lots of people bought in on short term hype, and they don't mind selling. I'm considering buying more now that it's falling. It's a great value in my opinion, but you're going to have to hold it a while.

next quarter though will be a better picture on their flagship which is already promising as they are already manufacturing it and following up with previous clients of their cocaine-based anesthetics.

Me? Not girl. The dude weed is still in bear market however bears aren't as energetic as they once were. Bulls could squeeze the hell out of them at any time but that will take news of some kind, big news that helps the whole sector. Without news it'll be more of these 15-30% rips up over a couple days but no sustained break out of bearish channel and sell off following. I'm not interested in trading the sector without imminent good legalisation working its way through government or another large (multi billion) cash infusion from an alcohol or tobacco big dick.

no - it gets taxed as soon as the profit is realized. in your example you said you sold the stock for $150 profit. its no longer stock. its cash. and thats when it is taxed. thats the nice thing about crypto - you can turn it into other shit without being taxed.

The good bit is that most people fall somewhere in the 12% tax bracket. If you make just say 30k a year, you'd have to make a shit pot full of " extra income" over the year to get bumped higher. 10k extra to be accurate. Most people just starting out investing don't make that much in a single year. They end up losing half (or more) of the upfront investment money. Which at first seems like shit but that loss can be turned into an advantage. The IRS lets you write off investment losses up to a certain amount. Say you made $5000 extra on stocks. You took a 1k loss. You'd only fork out tax on 4000 of the total income.

All dips happen for a reason, every stock stumbles because they're fallible like men are. Dips are not discounts, all stocks are priced at fair value.
In my opinion, it's better to invest in a good man then for the price of 100 bad men. I'd want one share of Microsoft before I had 10000 shares of Deans Farm, even with it's massive dip.

Merrill Edge will likely have your capital gains tax computed for you this febuary if you traded in 2019, otherwise likely next febuary.

Regardless, prepare an excel spread sheeting tracking your purchases and sales.

Your tax liability will be determined by 2 things. Short term capital gain (STCG) which is a capital asset (stock) which is held for less than 12 months and long term capital gain which are capital assets held for over 12 months.

You are going to be taxes based on your net gain modified by the length of time you owned ththe stock.

What more could you ask for. Honestly I'm shocked DIS hasn't hiked its Divvy again. Considering all those millions of DIS+ customers and several billion in film profits just to name two. Was actually thinking about this the other day. Would anyone sell their Tesla? I heard driving them is a lot of fun.

Your welcome. Also there's this little thing. Crime. If your in a certain line of work where you know your paid to "take care of people" You've now got the perfect tool. Just hack your targets car to uh have an accident and let the car do the messy stuff for you. No finger prints or other links pointing back to you.
