The problem with that logic is that as Chainlink grows in value so does the total crypto market cap. So it means that Chainlink would have to be constantly worth more than itself.
This would start a recursive loop of mooning that would end up consuming all the world's GDP and eventually all the matter in the universe, eventually causing a new Big Bang of a divine unified state of being with Sergey as the Godhead.

I've said this for years, no one can answer that in any logical reason but then again people pay money for electric tokens so its probably a moot argument anyway since crypto has been actually shown to do relatively little...Its kinda like asking a cryptohead 'What's stopping big companies like Swift, Alphabet, Wells Fargo, Nike, etc from creating their own crypto currency if all these cryptoes seem to be ten-twelve man teams that any trillion dollar company could assemble on a weekend and re-create the essence of their crypto in a matter of weeks, rendering Chainlink, Xrp, etc useless?'...NO ONE can answer THAT question because it cracks the facade.
