What went wrong?
I left the tg for a few months and I come back and it's a ghost town. Seems mainnet got released ok. Staking is happening. So why the price crush and terrible sentiment?

Most of the hype was built on rumors of adoption by real institutions, like banks in South Africa. But now that mainnet is released and the rumors don't seem any closer to being confirmed, people are losing interest and assuming the rumors were wrong.
