If you look up spxl and compare the tops and bottoms in relation to each other to spy's (tops and bottoms)-relation you can see a slight downward shift on spxl...what is an higher high on spy is maybe just a equal high or even lower high on spxl. This is the volatility decay but also fees. It's really not that bad though especially not in a bull market. Just don't hold through a recessions. The awful decay of things like nugt, jnug, usoil.... comes from a futures specific thing called contango and doesn't apply here.

I look at all the feds data closely, growth on housing, job growth, construction, as well as looking at global monetary flows and the data coming out of foreign governments as well, eps growth, ect ect. That's off the top of my head, I have charts to fill up thread after thread though.

No, I think the data is just too far gone at this point for the market to climb higher off the "buy the stimulus" narrative. We are already seeing bonds move back into pricing into more rate cuts today, except unlike 2018 growth is slowing pretty bad. At most I would say we have a crab year if not an outright major correction, we don't see up until the fed opens the floodgates. 1.5% reduction isn't going to cut it I think.
