So... you can't actually set a stop loss
*****until the order is filled?****

Yes or no? If yes, that's fucking stupid.

YES OR NO? I have to wait until the order is filled or no?
The answer seems to be yes

What the hell are you talking about? How would you set a stop loss AFTER an order is filled?

stop losses are a very bad idea in crypto. It will crash 10% and close your position, only for it to rebound right away. I've lost money too many times because of volatility and so now I just buy and hold.

Do you even know what a stop loss is? Have you even used binance?

Answer both questions, pseudo intellect. Say mo to either and you will show your ignorance

Look, stupid. I'll explain it to you. You have obviously never used binance.

It doesnt actually let you set the stop loss before the order is filled. Honestly, I asked hoping I kissed something, but you cant.

You know what? I was about to explain how "stop-limit" and "oco" work.. but as I was typing it out, I realized I would spend a good couple of minutes just texting it out so fuck that. Point is you dont know wtf youre saying

After a 10% loss, you get ass raped. I dont worry about btc as I just hold it long term, but trading alts is another story

of course you can. you can even use a stop loss to open a position. have you tried it? if so, you did something wrong

your stop loss defines your risk in every trade together with your position size. without a stop loss, it's not possible to be consistently profitable as a professional trader. if your stop losses tend to get triggered before the price rebounds, you gotta work on the position of both your entry and the your loss
