I assume you are talking about how they play and stuff. If this is the case, 100% no. Players vary by height and other in game stats on PES 18. No problem. And to answer your next question, during game days, the players will have higher stats then all the others (golds 109, silvers around 95-102). Easiest way to do it when in question though is to go to the team wiki page at which point they will have them labeled. Ours for now for example are the prophecy and AAAAAAAHHHHHH (Gold) and Sminem and Bogged (Silvers). Captains will have a little C icon in game, but is also labeled on the wiki.
