I'm pretty lucky that I have a well paying job and zero debt, but I sense that my ambition is starting to decline. I have zero ambition to work hard for my company and it starting to feel like this for any future employer as well. I have plenty of energy, but it is being wasted right now sitting in the office. I definitely feel like a cog in the machine, but I've somehow avoided debt and other modern societal pitfalls that keeps you as the cog.

Is the next step to try to create my own business or something? I just feel so lost because I've been grown up to be the cog. I think I have a problem working for other people and fulfilling their goals. I need to break away.
