So I was back in 2017 kinda mining my Linkies, and really truly believed that 2000 links were enough. until assblaster showed up after the sibos shoah...assblaster was the catalyst to who I am right now, thanks to him i was able to see past my mediocre investment and actually he started the urge to getting more links in me, he enabled the linklet syndrome in me.

I can say, I truly started being invested in link during march to april 2018, that's when i truly started to put alot of money in chainlink.

I can today say that i'm an OG but really i woke up to the real potential of chainlink way later, way after my first discovery of it, in 2017 I was kinda just playing around, but in april 2018 I truly knew.

during 2018 there was ALOT and ALOT of FUD surrounding link especially during the era of great silence, where the team didn't say anything, from april to the Linktober of 2018.
we had link drop back to sub 20 cents in July which I took advantage of to lower my DCA and the linktober of that year was magnificent, we had a great pump to 56 cents which felt soo fucking satisfying!
I knew back then i've made the greatest decision of my life by going balls deep into link. oh BTW i was never planning on selling, and I actually never sold 1 link, I actually tried to swing a small stack in october, but i regretted it, I had peaks of stress and sweaty hands...I knew the singularity could strike at any moment and it made it feel worse. thats was y only attempt of swinging, I never tried it since then.

You guys cannot believe my disappointment, when with all the praises to sergey and prayers to the 1000$ EOY 2018 never happened, i was thinking sure, I never truly believed in the 1000$ even though matematically it actually made sense, I know now that it's a realistic gal but it'll take time, but back then ANYTHING was possible, you had people who became millionaires in the span of few months with shitcoins and ETH, back then we were allowed to dream, and that's what actually made that era magnificent, we had candid hopes and dreams of becoming the next wave of millionaires after ETH.
I'm not doubting this today, my conviction are still there and i'm still a true believer in chainlink, I truly believe that I am holding right now a huge share of the new modern world, the world of internet 3 and 4.0 the internet of trustless markets and automation, Deep down, I am truly convinced that the "à of may have been the day a new world was born, I still remember when sergey announced mainnet....I couldn't believe it, some of us back then were talking about selling the news or how much it could make them money, many were convinced that all mainnet lounches were followed by dumps, tere was tension in the air back then, no one knew, and the FUD was really strong. BUT deep down in me I felt a weird feeling, something I never felt before, I even have tears in my eyes when I think about it today, I felt like we were entering new era, a new world, we left everything behind and were about to enter the world.

what really was mind boggling is that I knew(we knew...) deep down that we just entered a new era, but the whole world seemed to ignore it.
I was feeling joy and ecstasy but no one knew...people around me they were just living their normal borig wagecucking lives like usual, but linkers knew, atleast the true believers...THEY FUCKING KNEW we entered a new era.

That was the 30th of may a special day to me (to the linkers..), BTW don't tell this to my wife she'll think chainlink is more important to me than her.

btw this isn't pasta, i'm actually writing this down, I kinda feel like I should tell my story, And we are all in this together, and i'm pretty sure there are others linkers like me in here. i'm not discussing chainlink but i'm discussing how it affected me and how I live my investment in chainlink.

chainlink always felt special to me, investing in it feels more like an intellectual act than an act of greed. After discovering link I knew that it'll innovate and do more than innovation, it'll become a necessity the new world needs.

Investing in link kinda feels today Like proving a point, I put my money where my mouth is, and i'm ready to put my balls as a wager to prove it. Chainlink is a 100% bet to me, I think I've never been more sure of something in my life.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.
