regarding milk (and milk-based products)
what i dont understand (being from scandinavia) is why people buy low-fat/fat free milk
the milk i buy and drink regularly is not homogenized and has 3.8-4.5% fat simply because it tastes much better and is healthy for you
butter is the same thing, i've never used margarine or similar products, always extra salted butter (real butter) or butter thats cut with rapeseed oil for easier spreading on toast
i swear to God that there is an international conspiracy about fat (especially milk fats) being a bad thing. the good fats are better for you than any of the more popular substitutes
same goes for fatty cuts of meat such as entrecôte or chicken thighs, they are miles tastier than lean cuts and seriously doubt they are any worse health wise or other
carbs and sugars is whats bad, especially the simple (molecule-wise) ones such as glucose sugars, white toast bread, and to an extent pasta.
people who think (natural) fat in food is what's making them fat are serious retards

Americans were told for many decades that sugars was good and fat was evil.
The result is the blobular, confused, multiracial mess you now see as the average American

https://www.businessinsider.com/how-american-sugar-industry-convinced-people-fat-was-bad-2016-9

I agree with every point you make mate. If only you knew how bad things really are. The way certain lobbies are in bed with academia so that "researchers" can publish findings in favor of the aforementioned lobbies would make you vomit. A lot of food fads and crusades against certain nutrients have been synthetically manufactured (no pun intended) by certain players with ulterior motives which almost always benefit their own bottom line.

Africa Oil (AOI) is looking promising with them securing locations and deals in nigeria and oil discoveries in offshore guyana, and their oil/gas wells in kenya and ethiopia already producing (albeit low) about 2000 barrels a day, with production set to increase throughout the year

Doctors compare blood values to normal levels, not optimal levels where disease does not happen. In current society it is normal to be sick. It is normal for doctors to be retarded regarding nutrition. It is outside their field of expertise. In the past doctors even recommended cigarettes to people. The same kind of retardation is happening with nutrition today.

I'm from St. Louis, so those were good times. We were winning the Superbowl (Greatest Show on Turf btw) and everything. Stock markets were at record highs, everyone was eating McDonalds and fucking their wives and loving life. The weather back in 98/99/2000 was nice too.
Then the market crashed and 9/11 happened and everyone forgot about the good times.

I really love that documentary, it has such a great atmosphere, plus the young Bob Costas and young Skip and all that.
Yep, those were the days *sips*

But the point I'm sort of working my way around to is the fact that everyone should be supplementing T, at least a tiny bit to get to the "normal" levels that you would be at without all the plastics and shit in the water. And supplementing T and GH a little bit beyond that is nice too. Then you take some Cubensis and some nootropics, amphetamines optional, so on and so forth. We're already two decades into the new millenium, if anyone is still sub-natty then it's too bad for them

People died on the inside after 9/11. I wanted to be an architect when I was a kid and when I saw those towers get crashed into and then fall I could not help but think "What if someone did that to my creations and hard work?" It unironically fucked me up mentally. *sips*

>everyone should be supplementing T, at least a tiny bit to get to the "normal" levels that you would be at without all the plastics and shit in the water.

I mean I don't wanna tell you to pin T and get huge like /fit/ will (they will also say "SARMs are garbage and you shouldn't do them").
Your doctor will probably tell you that your T levels are fine, as long as they are in the triple digits...
I want to offer a middle path: just reclaim your natural hormone levels by lightly supplementing. Even 2mg-5mg of RAD140 per day isn't really instantly noticeable but it can help out in the long run.

Lots of people get really neurotic about "I can't eat or drink this, I have to do this etc.", especially /fit/ can get really OCD about it. Instead of jumping through a million hoops to try and have natural hormone levels in such an unnatural world, just lightly supplement, eat as healthy as you can, don't worry about the minutiae

You can make more than enough money if you get git gud. No one wants to git gud though. They just want to gamble and that's why they lose. Most edges(of non mathemtical nature) stem from regulations. Dix is one of them. GEX stems from the artificial market where no one wants to buy stocks anymore and only derivatives. Should lciguy be right then the lci edge stems from shorts trying cheat their way into winning. should have gone long from the bottom of that range and sold around the top of it. you were technically in a downtrend (lower low followed by lower high) so you had a higher probability of shorting the high of the range instead of buying the low. you should have cut your losses as soon as it broke out of that range, especially on the green candle from yesterday (support becomes resistance when it breaks, that was a retest and it couldn't close back above resistance).

if you still believe in the stock though, that white area is where you'd want to buy more in.

>>16773589
awesome, congrats. hopefully you learned something from the experience :)

remember, it's worth however much time it takes you to git gud at this shit. it's a skill that you will own for the rest of your life. if you git gud at it you will always have a way to make money regardless of the job market, all you need is a computer or phone with an internet connection and you can trade from anywhere in the world pretty much. you front load all of the hard work but then once you have your strategy down and it becomes second nature through practice, you just wash rinse repeat over and over and over and over. the hard part is the start where you have to learn, test, and practice.

Investing in a company with no products on the market, no history of profit, Pinning their future on one or two unproven drugs having positive results and getting fda approval and entering the market or getting a buyout... that’s a huge gamble. That’s not blackjack where you can double down when the dealer shows a six and you’ve got 11. That’s roulette, that’s all in on your favorite number and a 37 to 1 you’re going home broke.

Nothing is certain, but that’s incomparable to investing in companies that have a track record of success that you believe have a bright future. Or investing in the economy at large through index funds.

Looked them up. Here's all you need to know. U.S. equities are flooded with algorithms to create an illusion that the markets aren't a totally barren wasteland. If you trade among these algorithms they will slaughter you because the order flow is mostly "fake." So legitimately like 90% of your success is going to be about stock selection. You find this to be the secret for a lot of the remaining successful prop shops. They emphasize stock selection as pretty much the key component of their trading after you have all the basics down (and the basics are easy as shit for most people and you shouldn't have to pay much if anything at all to find these basics of trading). So selecting the right stuff to trade is the big way to try dodge the most Hebrew elements of the current market which really escalated following the Global Financial Crisis.

The other thing you do if you're intraday trading is feeler positions, massive risk constraints (1-4 cents on most stuff unless you have a specific level you want to risk to and can't enter closer to it), and re-entries. There are ways price is supposed to move. When it's Jewed up by algorithms, it will move way differently. Trade long enough and it's laughably obvious. Feeler positions mean that in the event you didn't select your stock correctly, you aren't risking much to find out you were wrong about your selection. The massive risk constraints are there because it doesn't matter what your stop is. The algos will stop you out at 2 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents, 15 cents, it doesn't matter so risk less and...re-enter. You shouldn't need more than like 4 or 5 attempts to get in a good move without getting Israekilled. If you have good entry criteria and you have the basic domain knowledge know and you're still getting shaken out more than like 4 or 5 times, you're in a synagogue stock and you need to switch out.

the key is to set your stop loss at like 1-2% which should be relatively far away from price on a normal stock, "in case shit happens" hard stop. but you should have an area before your stop, probably far before your stop, where you have a soft "mental stop" and if price gets that far or your indicators flip the other way, you gtfo with a limit order near the ask. having a really really tight hard stop loss is just begging for it.

you shouldn't be getting stopped out like 90% of the time it should just be there in case of emergencies like a flash crash or something crazy that you couldn't react to in time manually.

you want to buy it around $43.5 if you can get it in the mid-long term. in the short term it is near the bottom of it's short-term range but near the top of the longer range (which topped out at $49). idk the fundamentals of the company but assuming they're solid it's likely a good buy here around $47, your target should be around $48.4 or $48.2. if the EMA(20) holds as resistance you'd be buying the bottom, the question is whether you want to bet on it breaking out of this range to the upside instead of downside. it basically just changed from consolidating after a gap down on earnings, followed by an uptrend correction to previous levels and now another consolidation which has a slight downward trend to it.

yeah, they aren't that hard. options are basically like insurance policies but for stocks. you're just purchasing or selling the right to buy or sell a number of shares at the strike price. if you buy, your breakeven is the strike price + the premium (cost of a contract). each single contract is for 100 shares of stock.

they allow you to hedge your bets because you can go long and short at the same time. you only get the right to buy/sell at the strike price for the time of the contract, typically 1 month but it can be as short as a week or years long.

Trading options spreads is a good way to make some money if done properly. You can make money if a stock goes up, down, or sideways! There are a few methodologies you can follow that yield a high success rate, especially when you consider things like taking profit at 50% or the ability to ladder options to reduce maximum losses. You can also sell cash covered puts, and if you get assigned, sell covered calls, just do it with a stock you dont mind holding 100 shares of. I love options personally.

Does this means you are pretty much better off always selling the top and rebuying on the dip? I always thought if you planned to hold then it doesn't really matter.

buy at 1, sell at 3, buy at 2 ... equals out? You had a dollar. You swapped it for a share. You swap that share for three dollars. You have three dollars. You buy a share at 2 dollars. You have a share plus your dollar?

If both A and C claim ownership of the shares shorted by B, the institutional ownership of Company XYZ could be reported as 25 million shares (20 + 5)—or 125% (25 ÷ 20). There are only the following possibilities
>DIX is bullshit
It seems to work though..especially for indices.
>Dark pools are wrong about gme
They are accumulating for more than a year now. Accumulation is slightly below average since last er though.
>GME is a buyworthy stock
Dix is also buying lci...not as much as gme but still clearly net positive.
