It's always been an IQ test. Unlike irrelevant projects Fantom will be used and each mainnet must use Fantom. It's the ultimate alt hold into the bull market that is coming.

I just finished staking all my Fanties. I decided to spread it all over three nodes. The interface right now is "mediocre" so I considered this the best way to hedge against anything unforeseen. Didn't pick 1 or 2 though, went with some lower ones. Not sure if that's a mistake, but I can't figure out how to install it.

I mean I am really not mad about unfufilled promises. "300k boo hoo" my ass. I don't give a shit. If it outperforms ETH, then I'm happy. ETH has been pissing me off with the slow transaction speed, while fantom transfers have been near instant. Whether or not that's related to the low users, guess we'll see. To Valhalla, though.

sorry i was split between another conversation. I meant I couldn't figure out how to withdraw a test delegation and I couldn't figure out how to increase it (just bugged out) At this point, it either moons or I lose a small amount of money. It's not a big deal.

>> No.16721514

the team hasn't published the how-to guide for un-delegating yet (it's coming) so for now there's no going back once you stake. also you can't increase from what i know, but i think this will be addressed soon. we're still in the earliest stages of implementation

I still don't know if they will be big, but I like what they have done in 2019. Solid dev work, and in business side they look promising, with hands on the middle east and some hiring of business people focused on creating deals on that side of the world.

All blockchains right now are a promise of something, many will fail, but I like how fantom is positioning themselves to fulfill that promise.

Are there any rules of thumb for staking? Like determining what portion of your bag to stake, how much to stake for it to be worthwhile, what are the drawbacks? Also, this is the first I'm hearing of this workchain ITO thing, and I noticed their website specifically mentions Fantom. Is it just an alternative to staking on Opera mainnet? Also fantoms release schedule is purely for stakers and if they implement the CDST model then 1 billion will be burned and no more inflation. Man I fuckin wish. Roughly 400k but fuck it I’m going to stake the whole thing and grab those extra fanties will I can. Maybe get about 500-600k in the 6month period. 400k is cozy enough and with 8 figures I’d be fucking fine. Wouldn’t worry about a damn thing after that.
