Eventually you realise that everyone around you is retarded, lazy or simply does not care after being around for a certain period of time.

You sort of stop caring about your job - at which point you either just sort of continue on without comment by anyone OR you get fired. Normally the first option as you are more valuable to a company after a month or so than it costs to find someone to replace you while they hire someone else.

Also;
8 Hours is more like 7 hours 10 minutes when you factor in bathroom breaks, heading to and from places or simply having a normal 30 minute break.

Go the doctors, get propranolol. It works wonders, lowers blood pressure and minimal side effects. Used to treat high blood pressure normally but works great.

the idea of working is so unknown to me. i haven't ever held a real job so just being thrown into adulthood in such little time. work life balance is hard to maintain and it's starting to feel like my entire life just revolves around my job now.

it's one of the FAANGs. they're basically a revolving door of hiring and firing

This is reassuring. From the interview I felt this way too, the guy who interviewed and hired me is my boss and we developed a good rapport very quickly. That doesn't stop me from being a sperg and thinking this is all a complicated joke or scam.

FAANG companys sometimes have a high turnover because of people voluntarily leaving - often due to seeing 'warning flags' in the business they are working for. Especially if you are in a financial department or in meetings.

It's also entirely possible that people are taking the knowledge and moving elsewhere from that business.

Arguably they would'nt just hire you to fire you, would be a bit redundant and stupid of them as high turnover turns away people from a business.

Though i will question... why are you wanting to work at a FAANG business if you are aware of the revolving door nature?

>>16702645
>work life balance

Nobody has it completely balanced. Your best option is basically sleeping during your spare time in the week and trying to do something on a day off only once you are not feeling exhausted completely by work.

Your best option is;
> 8 Hours sleep every day, ensure you get it otherwise you'll feel exhausted all the time. You will feel tired for the first few weeks regardless as your body adjusts to work, potentially longer depending on physical stamina and job role.
> If you have the option, organise a break for the middle or just slightly after the middle of your work day. This splits a 8 hour shift into a 4 hour starting shift and a 3 hour 30 minute ending shift.
> Avoid commitments outside of work for a while, you will be too tired to make them.

What job do you do?

The system is not beaten until you have an income that increases to match/beat inflation.

That said, 2000 a month is a good start especially if it gives you free time to advance yourself.
