I bought a BILI call this week brothers.

Gatcha is an absolute money printer, and I’m hoping they can move higher off this Tesla news. Though I don’t know if I’m they make much money off of anime streaming, I just miss having this meme in my portfolio, and buying shares when it’s run up this much is a difficult proposition.

I almost certainly threw money away. But I want my BILIes back.

OP's pic reminds me of a girl I saw IRL for a little while. She was a little nympho who loved the domesticated housewife lifestyle. She was a little softie though, and didn't take too kindly to me being an aggressive and ruthless capitalist. She was more of a "healer/social helper" type. A damn shame. Oh well. i never really think too much about morals in the market. hell, most of the time i barely know anything about any stock i trade besides the general sentiment on stocktwits and what the price and volume are telling me over time, and whatever catalysts are involved are might be involved with later (i play the hype leading up to earnings a lot, sell before earnings even happens lmao ez money, also earnings drifts).

stock going up i buy, stock not going up anymore i sell. stock going down i short, stock not going down anymore i cover. whether the company is run by saints or sinners doesn't concern me, im just here for the money. it's very freeing especially in something like politics where you can shift your focus from being mad about the bullshit goes on to "how can i profit from this?" i don't care about the US-China trade war or who is good and who is evil in this equation, i just know escalation = short stocks, long on gold/silver, and vice versa for resolution of the conflict (or hints towards it).

i mean i agree with you on all of those points really, i just find it funny that people get morality involved in what essentially boils down to really high probability gambling (a.k.a. "being the casino instead of the player").

Meds are a good start but yeah that’s why people come to biz, they don’t want to wage slave forever and know it’s unsustainable.

It’s why the memes of learn to code, learn a trade, go to uni exist.

But you don’t get fired over depression, you get fired for the symptoms of it. If you’re lashing out or moving slowly or showing up late, etc. What did they actually use to justify it?

The bulk of my money is in futures and crypto but my stock accounts are mostly all in SOXL though I do try to trade a little bit in and put on the dips. For stock trading I messed around with a few different strategies which more or less worked but nothing lile the gains I'm getting with SOXL. At this point I'm a true believer and like I said in the pasta above I see no reason why semiconductors will slow down and many reasons why they will continue to accelerate. Pic related is my Robinhood equity curve after just saying fuck it and going all in on SOXL. I mean seriously, just look at that shit. TQQQ and TECL are great too but I think semiconductors specifically will continue to outperform the broader tech market.

Yessir! TA is just chart reading with indicators and moving averages and that kind of thing. The other related term you will quickly run across is fundamental analysis (FA), which refers to researching the financials, earnings, and supply/demand factors that will affect the future performance of a stock.

Make sure to use investopedia site for articles on pretty well everything related to technical and fundamental analysis. Don't know how an indicator works? Investopedia! Don't know a term? Investopedia! Good luck!

I bought SAVA the day after it was first shilled here. The shill was about an hour before market close saying 60 minutes to get on the moon mission. I watched it and after hours it did moon so the next day 6th of December I jumped in bought while at work at 2.20 and watched as it carried on up to 2.30 thinking shit I might flip this today at 2.50 ... immediately plummeted to 1.60 same day ... fucking terrible day then 1.50 the next. I couldn't plan an exit because I was working, on my phone, didn't have a stop loss and I had NLTX gains to monitor as well. As it crabbed around with my $800 loss the next few weeks making my skin feel hot and tight, tempted to sell, thought I might as well get out with a small loss as it started coming up the last few days. Did more research, decided it was worth a hold.

I'm glad I held and while I'm not really making bank I intend to hold a little longer. I learnt not to be so quick to jump into obvious pump and dumps when I know nothing about the company in the future. I'm not adverse to pump and dump, but only when I've got the time to be at a computer to time it. That or on less volatile stocks.

>> No.16631269

I am quite positive now that sava will be the only standard of care for alzheiemers pretty soon. They also plan a blood test to work alongside their drug. I think this will essentially stop disease progression, so pretty much a cure, if you will. The early pump was warranted because individual data was shown of unprecedented results. The dump which came afterwards was irrational.
Just make sure your time spent for research is not out of touch with your share count.

Check the weekly, looks bullish as fuck short-term. The problem though with this kind of volume is the fact that one giant whale can take profit at let's say $4 and it would crash back down in one massive red candle. Which has happened time and time again. So it's up to you what you want to do, I would personally wait if you're not in it already.
One of the reasons I say this is because we had more way more volume back in october 2018 which brought us to $3 and the next day it just smashed back down to $1. Trusting named perma bulls that will simply go back to being anons when it crashes is not really recommended. We had an example of that recently with AMRN

There is plenty of reason to believe this. It always recovers from these plummets in the past. The 400mg data is coming and the 300mg data showed massive and consistent effect on the relevant biomarkers. Ibrutinib had efficacy at 400mg as well, so it is completely rational to expect the same with Vecabrutinib. Ignorance of the reason to believe it will moon does not mean such reason does not exist.

There's so many companies out there with a solid foundation and overall structure with future growth secured and you decide to invest your limited amount of money in shit. Their cash is an issue though so i am expecting some form of dilution in the worst case. But too many insiders for a big one. Maybe nih will fund them, or they find some non dilutive funding, buyout, partnership, warrants, whatever.

Why don't people ever factor in the time it takes to earn a certain return? I always see posts talking about "I got a nice 20% off this" or "I'm down 10% in that," but nobody ever talks about how long it took to get those gains/losses.

There's a huge difference between a stock that gains 5% in a day and one that gains 5% in a month, yet nobody seems to factory that in. People set goals like "I'll sell after it's gained 10%, but I've set a stop loss at -5%," but they never say "I'll sell in a week if it's still flat, and cut it if I'm not breaking even after a month." What you want to do is look at UNH, MRK, LLY, ABBV, BMY, and CVS, and look at the bargains Mr. Market gave you when Bernie revealed his Medicare for all plan and Warren was rising in the polls.

I'm not sure whether you didn't understand my part, or just didn't read it. You just started talking about lottery tickets and books. I want making a point about risk vs reward, I was commenting that people don't factor in time when they think about either risk or reward. Any ratio of risk to reward should be evaluated with respect to time. Two trades could each have an equal chance of paying off and an equal reward when they do, but if one ties up your money for a year while the other ties it up a day, you're much better off with the one that gets you your money back sooner rather than later.

I think we're talking past each other. I'm not advocating chasing short-term gains. I'm arguing that the time horizon is a much more important factor most people realize. A 3% gain over the course of a week is worth more than a 10% gain over the course of a month, assuming you're equally able to find your next play. Likewise, it's better to take a loss after a week and find something else to put your money into than it is to hold something for a year hoping it will go back up to the price you bought it at.

I think I'm trying to say that fixating on percentages is a bad way to look at investing, and that people will unconsciously change their time horizon to protect themselves from having to admit they were wrong.

People who will say "it's okay, I bought in at X so I'm still up Y% overall", as if that makes it better, when really it just means they missed the chance to lock in their gains. Saying "I'm still up 10% since two weeks ago" is just a more psychologically palatable way of saying "I was up 20% last week, and I'm down 10% this week."

I don't think it's "extremely speculative" I think a lot of people want to bash it mainly because they don't like me as a person.. trading a stock based on if you like a person or not isn't good behavior imo... You may hate someone and try to short the stock they like only to get blown the fuck out simply because the company doesn't give a fuck about me or that other person that hates me... but those people that hate me have been shouting "extremely speculative" when in reality... they've probably never even looked into the stock.. they are just blind bashing for the simple reason that I've hurt their precious little feelings in the past.

LCI was run into a very tight spot by old management.. the old CEO just was shit.. he didn't try to grow the company instead he tacked on debt and lost relationships (deals) over time just because he was a shit CEO

NOW.. the new CEO is great.. he has been in the pharma industry for a long time and since he's been at the wheel of LCI he has been establishing good relationships with companies that have very popular drugs, the new managament all together have been reshaping LCI.. they've been handling debt well and reducing cost left and right...

The new drugs that will be hitting their pipeline are HUGE!!
>Levothyroxine
one of the most common prescribed drugs!! HUGE market for it and they should start distributing it soon.
>Insulin
Another extremely common prescription that demand only seems to be growing.
>Adderall
I mean.. come on now.. everyone knows what that is and that too is only growing in popularity.

These are just SOME of their NEW drugs hitting the pipeline, they have many more and they already have A LOT of drugs in their arsenal... these NEW drugs will be hitting annual markets well over $3billion and the company is currently trading under $500million?!?! come the fuck on now.. this shit is way undervalued esepcially once this debt issue is completely resolved.

Thats funny because I have also thought of it going to 7.50 range.. I do TA on trades but I don't base my entire strategy off of it.. I've had these lines on this chart for awhile which are more or less guide lines that tells me where the stock "could" be heading.. but aren't certain.

In may you can see that it tried to break out of a 5 year down trend resistance.. but yet it was "gapped down" back under the reisistance.. hmm.. wonder why they would do that.. LOL... Then it found some support in june around june and started a slow climb, then that spike in july basically made a new resistance that at the time seemed shorts piled on it heavy to keep it under that new resistance but in doing so they formed a wedge for TA traders... In late august it hit that new support thats now trending up and then gapped up and out of that wedge "that new reistance" this gap up led to a trend reversal imo... Now we are in an uptrend but have that gap... IF it goes lower.. I see it going to that 7.50 zone where I have that blue line.. thats because it might want to test that area one more time to basically establish a new chart with a new trend.... but.. i think if it goes down in that area.. it won't be down there long.. the trade is crowded and bulls are taking control...

So yes.. I think it could be possible for it to test 7.50 zone.. BUT trying to time something like that on meme lines isn't my cup of tea.. esepcially when i'm looking at the company and stock as a whole.. not just a chart..

Keks at people who think reviews matter. This isn’t fucking John carter, the word that the third movie is going to suck has been out for a long time. Disney will do just fine.

>While still ranking as the third-biggest December opening of all-time, the results trailed what some forecasters were estimating. Ticket sales came in 29% below “The Force Awakens,” the first film in the Disney-produced trilogy. Receipts were higher on Thursday and Friday than over the weekend, suggesting that die-hard fans saw it immediately, while other moviegoers may have been distracted by holiday shopping.
>Internationally, “The Rise of Skywalker” took in $198 million, Comscore Inc. estimated Sunday. The film took in $12.1 million in China, where generally the Star Wars movies have been less popular.
>Other films opening this weekend did far less well, with “Cats” an adaptation of the Broadway show, taking in $6.5 million and “Bombshell,” about the sexual harassment scandal at Fox News, generating $5.1 million.

$1.21 mil in china does seem bad, even if they’re not popular there. Probably hate the samurai element of Jedi’s, the chink fears the samurai.

I need some numbers to compare that China number to.

I didn't even want to use the tripcode, people kept bitching at me for not using it. This board is not a monolith. Which is good, because then we'd all be buying options every day and wiping our account value out, then doubling it, then tripling it, then wiping it out again, then back to where we started, every week, like Baggie.

All the people in these threads want to give advice, and yet I don't think a single one has ever posted their portfolio to show their thoughts have credence. Like it takes two seconds to screencap and show the audience what they invested in that worked, what failed, what their total percentage is, what stocks they have now, how much they started with or anything else. It's so easy to call something or tell someone else their advice is bad, but at some point they need to show how much success they have personally had.

Each stock is different for this. What would be a good stop loss on a steady large cap stock, by percentage, would be an inappropriate stop for something a lot more volatile. In swing trades you need to give a stock space to do its usual range. Also if a stock spikes upwards way beyond average single day move, i may either take partial profit right there or snuggle up my stop a little tighter than normal.

I got tricked into looking into the company. Don’t like what I see. He kept feeding me bullshit to try and dispel the legal troubles that were still very much in play when I was looking in to it ~8 months ago. Was just lying to spread the idea that I was wrong.

Now the “they’re paying off the debt” thesis is dead and gone, since they’re looking to raise cash by both diluting their shares and issuing corporate bonds.

Never trust anyone who uses a reputation to get you to buy a stock. You’re better off finding stocks on your own that look good to you. And NEVER trust anyone who refuses to admit that they’ve been wrong.
True in personal relationships as well, take notice when people can’t admit that they’re wrong. Like this fag, they’ll shift blame, warp the debate, never take responsibility. Make sure to keep healthy distance from people like that.

>>16635352

Uh here's mine so far. Most is in AMRN. I invested $16,908 total. My AMRN stake is worth more than that now just by itself. So I could sell it monday and walk out with more than I put in (and a bit more) and still have my other positions. Those would then be considered "free" or "bonus" from a financial perspective.

I like SAVA's approach to Alzheimer's (specifically that they aren't targeting amyloid and are going after neuroinflammation), the blood test they're working on could also be useful
I think both are good picks, though GALT is in a bit more of an opportune position to buy at the moment, since they're starting their adaptive phase 3 trial soon and the stock is near 52 week lows

A company is a separate legal entity with its own capacity to own property. Copyright is property. Pretty much like shareholders can't just share the use of the company's tangible assets, they can't wet their beaks in the copyright.

As a shareholder, what you could do is to appoint a director/CEO that will give you license to copy (or even transfer the copyright) — if you have enough shares to fire the current CEO and put yours. The CEO will get into legal trouble with other shareholders/creditors, but you'll still enjoy your right to copy.

Ya feel me?
