Never seen it but they’ve made a lot of regulations since then that do make insider trading more difficult, which is why you see stocks make such wild moves when they report earnings compared to the old days.

Those whispers of shortfalls and upside surprises used to get out and get around. Now, for most, it’s not worth the risk.

At least, that’s how I understand it. On the other hand, you have shit like this thing that just went down in England with the HFT’s getting the inside scoop in the BOE conversations before they’re made public.

Since they had to remake the protocol, or chose to anyway, why not hand it off now instead of waiting to finish it? Seems like they could get a deal done without the final submission. Just hand it off. Its going to be 2.5 years since they advanced the drug before they do so again.

Now, if they go at it alone this is unnecessary, because a termination of the trial would very well mean the end of the company anyway. Question is ... do I hold onto the original justification for taking a $1,000 position in the first place, which is short term potential buyout, long term decent performance and just hold that shit or do I exit while I'm still green and just forget about it?

I feel that it has stabilised at a more normal value for now and it unlikely to fall much further? I will fucking rage though if it falls to $14. It is 5% of my portfolio which is about all I'd throw into moon lambos anyway.

Don't knock it anon. Here's why:

These people are trying to create a new market (the whole green renewable eco conscious socially responsible investing movement targeted at your feels is part of the plan) that doesn't yet exist. For us investors, it just means new opportunities and openings for our capital to be allocated in. If you do a little digging, you will see that the big players want in. We are talking about the JP Morgans and Goldman's of the finance world. The greenie non-sense being pushed in the EU is another one. Trying to make carbon emissions into a spook poses great investment opportunities. Hope that makes sense.

It used to piss me off to no end but now I kind of embrace it with a rational open mind.

Anyway man when I wrote that out I realised that I hold an SNSS bag and have done next to no research in the company I just thought lol 28c a stock YOLO.

Let me look that shit up. BTK inhibitor, ok wild man. I used to take some βk-2C-B back in the day I wonder if it is something to do with phenethylamines. Ok Bruton's tyrosine kinase rad bro I've eaten a lot of amino acids and l-tyrosine, pretty sure I once tried to get high on phenylalanine. Don't die on those monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Holy shit I can buy this for 'research purposes' only

https://www.medchemexpress.com/Vecabrutinib.html

lawl. BTK and ITK inhibitors are good for dealing with white blood cell cancers apparently.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23672610

Shit man this is from 2013. We must have some treatments already if the pathways actually worked out. Who makes these drugs?

brutinib (PCI-32765), a selective Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
Acalabrutinib, approved in October 2017 for relapsed mantle cell lymphoma.
Zanubrutinib for mantle cell lymphoma. It can be taken orally.

Vecabrutinib (SNS-062), is effective in the treatment of ibrutinib-resistant chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Ok cool.

Acalabrutinib (trade name Calquence) is astrazeneca. IMBRUVICA is jointly developed and commercialized by Pharmacyclics LLC, an AbbVie company and Janssen Biotech, Inc. Brukinsa (zanubrutinib) made by BeiGene fell short in a Phase III trial against Imbruvica (ibrutinib).

Ok so the main competitor is ibrutinib which beats the rest and SNSS are trialling vecabrutinib which is marketed for ibrutinib resistant blood cancers.

Minor... Seems worth a punt. Need to look at their data now if I can be fucked.

Personally, women don't tend to buy nudes they tend to by physical goods, if you're looking for a certain type of sex-work lite, you might find some good money in chaturbate although I've yet to do that myself. Currently the only thing that I can imagine being profitable would be stinky gym socks.

Here is my current princing info for socks:

Socks - Socks are 15 dollars starting, plus 5 dollars for each extra day beyond the initial 32 hours they're worn, you also get a verification photo, a special request (working out, dirty feet, outside) and a nice picture with the socks.

However mine are wrapped in waxpaper, vaccuum sealed, put in a small mesh giftbag, with a handwritten thank you card and sent out same day I stop wearing. Honestly, you're just going to have to take the plunge, but you'll find that if you can fill a niche by being likable, charismatic and have the ability to put yourself out there, you'll find reliable customers who'll enjoy you.

You might also find some utility in selling jockstraps but that's more of a gay man's market, and you have to be good looking; I hope your personal development includes lifting. I'm not sure where you'd find that market but do your due dilligence and you'll come out okay. There's always a market for perverts. Get your money upfront, and be very quick to decline sketchy people. Rob perverts, stay based.

We aim to profit off growth. Buying a company worth a dollar which remains worth a dollar in zero-sum capitalism is a death sentence, remember if you aren't growing your competitors are and they'll eventually displace your irrelevant ass. You want to give that dollar to somebody who can use it to make two dollars and then four dollars and so on. I'm not investing due to altruism I want my money working for me and showing a return or else I want it back. So ideally a company takes every penny it earns and uses it to make twice as much the following year. In reality though markets become mature, there are no more consumers, there are no more efficiency savings, there is no more profitability increases, growth slows and stagnates. At which point a profitable company either pays dividends or buys back shares to increase the share value. Otherwise fickle ass cunt investors will take their money back and give it to somebody who isn't such a gigantic loser who is entering new markets, developing new products and pushing the envelope. Old fags tend to like dividend stocks because they've built their wad, their ass is tired and they can see their wad in safe hands with enough return to survive on with some to leave to the kids when they peg it. It is the nature of greed. Capitalism is pretty fucking screwed up.

Reminder: When Big Pharma comes knocking the Green Bags start Flying.. Marketcaps mean shit if Big Pharma wants the company bad enough. What the CEO personally wants doesn't mean shit either. Long as the Board has the majority votes and shareholders give it the thumbs up then Big Pharma wins. Really though you'd have to be dumb as hell to turn down a Fat Green Bag (or two) stuffed full of Cash.

With all the good news it's important not to let the lure of the Fat Green Bag to get outta hand. Sure you'll get a Fat Bag but over doing it is just setting yourself up for despair and gloom if it doesn't come to pass. I look at it like this: If I get 45 - 50 per then hey its all good for me. If I get over 50 per then that's just extra gravy. I'm not talking about just the buyout price either but also the stock price itself. Low balling your expectations will save yourself a lot of mental pain later. Then if you exceed those expectations you can celebrate like mad.

No IPOs for me. I'll tell you why. There is a lock up period for shares owned by private equity investors that got in early and this creates a risky floodgate for the public markets. Once the lock up period expires some time post-IPO, the first money sells and the price dumps. These early investors were able to capture all of the juicy prime cut type growth and value that the company created. What the public markets are left with is dust/spoiled leftovers. This creates liquidity issues that result in volatility and general uncertainty for the future outlook of the company. Our favorite millennial companies that went public over the last 3-5 years have not "settled" well. These are the Twitters, Snapchats, Ubers, Lyfts, Beyond Meats and the likes of the world. The charts never lie.

>god damnit i hate this shit missing out on opportunities like that.

AGRX bros? Is this about to experience an AMRN-level pump leading up to approval? Healthcare conference in January plus approval by February- I’m thinking playing $2.5 calls for both January and Feb-March, seems it could double up to $4-5 territory with some news. Super low cap hovering around $200 mil mark, with a lotta good news inbound.

I went from +$2,400 on mY AMRN calls to -$100 so I must avenge my position. Thoight stupidly that good news means positive price action and forgot that good news means -20% dip these days. Sold most of mr AMRN positions flat as they are expiring soon (Jan 17) so at least the max I can lose now thanks to Amarin is $300.

I’m thinking AGRX might actually hold though, given it has much more room to grow. And if not, a double jump is guaranteed at least running up to catalysts, so could enter now and exit before fuckers inevitably tank it on the ultimate good news.

Thoughts?

I would say it's still relatively off the radar, probably till phase2 data. But the thing is you already know what the results will be if you look close at the previous data and the papers.
Now, if the phase2 secondary endpoints are met, that will be all over the normie media i guess, and will be the end of accumulation period i am afraid. Not sure if they will be met though. Primary is certain on the other hand.

Also, "finacial advisor" could mean anything. If he isn't CFA or analyst of some sort, he's probably just glorified salesman/broker.

News articles are being written right now about how a tiny $2 stock jumped 50% today and why you should invest now. I can't believe I took a 2.2 profit. I'm praying monday comes and I get one more chance. I would not be surprised if it's $5 after all this after hour insider pumping. I also really hope I don't buy on monday and everyone immediately shorts.

True, but these kind of news come and go everyday. Just be careful not to buy the absolutr top of the day. The thing is most people, be it retail, analyst, whatever don't know what this drug does, and how unique it is. Imho it strikes almost at the root of the disease. The other 100 drugs in clinical testing for alzheimer don't even attempt something like this. They say 99% fail, and that's projected to sava as well at this stage and is shown in the market cap. But this is the one.

My hope is that as soon as the market opens, people pull an AMRN and short everyone, which causes panic sells to follow. I'm going to wait about an hour or two before buying to see that doesn't happen after I go in. I'll also say that as a precaution to anyone holding in here if they want to short people. We'll see what happens. At least I'm holding GALT, r-right?
