Monero has already won as the defacto privacy coin. zcash isn't even accepted in any darknetmarkets that I can think of. The price today is lower than 2016 and the massive inflation means it will continue to tank/underperform. what is even the point?

This is FUD. The seed is generated with a multiparty computation. Monero is a glorified mixer which only provides plausible deniability. If all the other sigs in the ring are known (i.e. exchange wallets) then your 'privacy' is a meme. Zcash has actual confidentiality
