>> No.16614584

no
if you are disciplined enough to only risk 100 each trade then you will lose 100 at most

Yes. You can easily get a lot more leverage with options.

Depends on your position.

Some autist started rolling covered ITM calls on volatile stocks he owned and made a retarded amount of money simply due to the volatility being priced so high. Worst case scenario, he made less money off a stock he already owned, since selling calls can put a ceiling on your gains.

Want to get into options but its basically impossible in europe. Degiro is hailed as the best broker here but they barely offer options and if they do it's extremely low volitility.

Survivorship bias. We're in a long running bull market now too... makes options easy as fuck. The moment stocks tank they lose half their account.

You don't know when they're going to go down and when they're going to go up. You can't market time. Go ahead and try it yourself.

It seems easy from reading a chart's historical performance but in the moment a stock can shift wildly up or down and your emotions start to take over. Stay in it too long and you may lose everything, get out too early and you miss out on the gains.

you can buy quarterly options if you are not confident with your timing skill

I'm talking day to day and hour to hour. People don't know when they're in a correction, crash, or just daily noise. They are a gamble, if the market tanks it's gone just like that. There is no free money in the stock market friendo, remember that you're going up against people with way more tools and understanding of it than you.
