Mark Zuckerberg attempts to make a stablecoin backer by assets.

It gets trashed for being centralized and muddied up in the courts.

MakerDao is a decentralized version of this asset backed stablecoin except the coin is minted when collateral is locked up by someone who wants the stablecoin to by more asset or just have the value of usd.

I am absolutely amazed that /biz/ isn’t jumping all over this and to be honest the fact that y’all missed on ETH explains why.
