It's amazing to me how just a year ago silver threads would only get a few posts, most of them being "muh shiny rocks" and asteroid mining nonsense, and a 3$ pump later and everyone loves it.

It is wise to have crypto, equities, property, and yes PM's. But I would take gold over silver all day any day. Why lug around 100 ounces of silver when you can have 1 ounce of gold. Bitcoin is still the best escape plan. 12 word passphrase and you can restart anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Good luck trying to >CLANK your silver onto a plane.

Some of my silver coins are starting to tarnish. Bought them in 2015, is this normal ?

I love me some PM’s but if I had kept my market accounts I’d be up 20% than if I hadn’t splashed down so hard on gold. I just don’t trust the market and I’d rather not be nervous waiting for a correction. Besides, we’re likely going to see a major shift in global monitory policy with all these countries buying gold and big banks teetering one collapse. BRICS is realigning to gold trading so why wouldn’t PM’s rocket up? I’m hoping we see $3k/oz on AU so I can buy a real nice commercial property, maybe some rental houses.
