Depends, if you got it second hand for a good pirce while it's in good working order you could probably make some dough hiring yourself out.

You're looking at about 300k for one though and even if you charge like 200 for a trip it would take you ages to pay it back.

You're pulling this right out of your ass.

A helicopter that would make money to pay for itself would be a multiseat hull, and you want turbine, a piston engine won't cut it. You're looking at 8-900k minimum, and probably looking at a turbine rebuild fairly soon (I believe turbines are TBO at 900 airmiles.)(It's been a while since I dealt with this - don't ask, long story.) Maintenance kills you with helicopters. It's not like an oil change - you rebuild, replace and have your shit inspected when required, or you're grounded.
Insurance is the next hurdle - commercial insurance carrying people - big money.
The next issue is location. That's the hard part, most areas that you could make money in, there's already plenty of competition. Or, the local government won't give you clearance.
Then there's the little matter of a pilot. Or pilots, for a commercial service. And, you better love paperwork, because there's a fuck ton getting certified, licenced, approved, and all that. Most cities limit how many choppers are allowed to be buzzing around, either as an airport service, or for tourists.
And then, one bad engine start, one seagull on your rotor or into your intake, and your day just went really fucking bad.
If you have millions to throw away, a helicopter could be a lot of fun. As a business? You might get in the green in 5 years, with luck. Probably not. I know the OP is probably just a poo with nothing better to post, but your reply is laughably naive.
If you want to buy an executive chopper, and staff it, for rich fucks in NYC or some big corporation, you need a couple million to get started.

Yeah looking up stuff like this really lets you appreciate how dumbed down cars actually are, you can drive for years without any major rebuilds if you're lucky.
Meanwhile planes or helicopters are so fucking complex and have so many moving parts interacting with each other with a fuckton of guidelines and regulation.
People talking about rich people just buying a helicopter to get to places faster do mix up those things way too often and think it's just like a car that's just a bit fancier.

Planes, especially small prop planes, are nothing compared to a chopper. Throw in turbine anything...ugh. It's constant maintenance, and the cost per mile skyrockets in terms of fuel and upkeep.
At least with a small prop plane, you can glide a little if you have problems. With a chopper? Straight down. Your shit needs to be in order, at all times.
