Let's use the energytek solar panels Linx 100. Five of them can charge their apex battery (which holds 1100kwh) in 3 hours. Since we have a big truck and we aren't a complete poorfag we will exaggerate and have 20 panels. Therefore, in good sunlight, it will take 136 hours to fully charge the truck. That's not all, we don't always have good sunlight. Let's say you live in a state that has 4 hours of peak sunlight a day and 4 more with half charging capabilities. Instead of three hours to fully charge your apex it now takes 6. This means that you can charge 8800kwh per day given that the conditions specified don't require absolutely no clouds at all. Let's just use 8800 however. It takes 22.7 days to fully charge your truck. Everyday you could drive a whooping 22 miles. Plus, you need to carry the fucking charger to transform the current of your 4 apex battery packs into proper voltage/amperage.

Either way though, I don't think any sort of vehicle will get much usage in a SHTF scenario but I'd much rather have a gas truck over an electric one in such a scenario. Humans are way, way more efficient than cars so I'd rather store a lot of food. Of course I will need to reach my shelter first.
