How do we know there are enough dollars out there to match up with the numbers on the screen?

There aren't and it is public information that there are not. Incredibly, fractional reserve banking allows banks to create the illusion of inflation at any level they want.

This is why the stock market will continue to go up forever.

Exactly. Part of why normies arent interested in crypto is they dont understand the pre reqs, such as the fed, the pirate bay, shadow banning, banks cutting off accounts of people for political reasons, etc.

You can read all transactions on a blockchain explorer.

crypto is the opposite of the fractional reserve system
Crypto is transparent and we hold exchanges accountable if we think they're lying NY AG (wall streets personal cop) is going after tether so if they're shady they'll get rekt with bitfinex, doubt it tho.

The banking system actually has more $ in binary code than total paper bills

I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.

finex has literally printed tether out of nothing for the past 4 years and changed claims of "fully backed by cash" to "fully backed by cash and assets" to "somewhat backed by cash and assets", and those assets can (and definitely) include bitcoin itself. not finex's btc mind you, customer btc
it's amazing how far NUMBER GO UP bagholders like you will go to convince themselves everything is fine. put that much effort into starting a business and you wouldn't have to blindly hope a southasian exchange operated by european ex-convicts using fake ids is going to play fair when there's absolutely no incentive to play fair and no penalty for cheating

ok dude. I said that tether is facing heat, and I was refering to the crypto community. Everything is relative and relative to Traditonal markets, like the S&P500, Crypto community sees money move we post here, reddit, twitter, we discuss it and articles get written and then the govts take notice and apply pressure.

I hope tether is brought down because I'm an investor who trades many markets, the transparency in BTC is unheard of.

"lol" at the comparison because when by broker buddies come here full time, they won't care about memes and fud, they'll use facts

There aren't, all it takes is for things to get fuckey is for people to ask for their savings.

What Is a Bank Run?

A bank run occurs when a large number of customers of a bank or other financial institution withdraw their deposits simultaneously over concerns of the bank's solvency.

As more people withdraw their funds, the probability of default increases, prompting more people to withdraw their deposits. In extreme cases, the bank's reserves may not be sufficient to cover the withdrawals.

Happened to northern rock in 2008.
