Seems like there is no reason not to? LINK is a once in a lifetime opportunity and everyone agrees it's going to atleast 100$, so surely 20$ is happening.

reminder that LINK is NOTHING like ETH.

1. ETH had a testnet with thousands of users and finished mainnet 1 year after ICO, and only raised 16mil. Chainlink had a testnet and mainnet with ZERO users after 2 years and 32mil. It has gained ZERO adoption (the partnerships aren't using it). The level of developer adoption and excitement for ETH vs LINK is absolutely incomparable, LINK has none.

2. The Ethereum tech was actually innovative. It was the first successful attempt at a smart contract platform. It was decentralized and working one year after ICO. Chainlink only has centralized oracles (Sergey is lying about decentralization) which are not new or innovative. Their "innovative" solution to sybil resistant consensus is KYC.

3. The Ethereum foundation only had 1% of the Ethereum supply after ICO. The Chainlink team has 65%. Also when Ethereum was $1, it had a market cap of less than $100,000,000. It was actually a low market cap gem. Chainlink's real marketcap (if you count the 650,000,000 tokens in Sergey's wallet, ready to sell) is currently $2,000,000,000, which makes it an incredibly overpriced top 10 coin, not a low market cap gem like Ethereum was at the time.

4. Chainlink has already had mainstream exposure. It's made the front page of crypto subreddits countless times, was covered in forbes and every news outlet imaginable. Yet, even after all this attention, it has failed to get any developer adoption. It is fair to say that every single dev in the space knows about Chainlink, and decides not to use it. There are many projects running oracles in production, none of them choose to use Chainlink.

when it comes to price development, partnerships only matter when there is a lot of dumb retail speculation money in the market. trump could tweet about buying up vast majority of link supply and the price would pump to $60 and crash to $15 again and crab

at the moment link has not captured real market value. 1000 eoy stems from big institutions/companies buying up link NOT for speculative investment purposes rather than for being able to pay node operators that cut down day to day business expenses letting them staying competitive. rather mundane and not fashionable.

This is the exact definition of delusion, to repeat the delusion without any basis. Both fundamentally and technically LINK looks doomed for the next few months. The only thing driving the price is delusions about short term value and the idea that the rest of the market will continue to HODL when nothing happens. Since there is no fundamentally bullish information that hasn't already been priced in, we can be doubly certain that as soon as this pump fails (which it will, having no catalyst but manipulation by sharks) LINK will dump down and crap $1.5-$2.5 until the next big market cycle after April next year.

Even in the best case outlook, LINK is unlikely to see higher than $20 by 2022, despite the delusion that it looks good enough by Nov-Dec to achieve even a fraction of this.

Chainlink would rise faster than the interest they would ever receive to make up for the fact that they could have just bought link with what they loaned out. It's fucking obvious it's a bad idea to loan your money if you know a good investment you could put it instead..

>> No.16271023

>>16270964
the key word you said is chainlink WOULD rise faster, But it isn't right now. Banks are interested in minimizing risks and increasing profits. Interest is LOW RISK, All Interest is pure profit. When you take that money and put it into chainlink, Whether chainlink goes to 1$ or 3$ and you lose or win doesn't matter. Here's an example, Say you loan somebody 1000$ with 10% interest, That means whenever they pay you back you will get 1100$. You take the 100$ profit of the 1100$ and put it into chainlink, Whether you lose the money or gain off the 100$ doesn't matter, Because you will still be have you 1000$ left which you can loan out again.

To add, If a bank decided to not loan out their 1000$ and put it all into chainlink, This would be a gamble. If they put 1000$ into chainlink and 3$ and it dropped to 1$, They would be in the negative.

That's not how it works. when you loan money to someone you are taking a risk that they won't pay you back everything you loaned them, all they money you loaned them is being hit by inflation which is slowely eating into your bottom line. Obviously if you know something would even 2x in the next 3 years its a better investment than any loan you could make with that money. If you know something will rise than the risk is low anyway,

I found an old credit card account I hadn’t closed properly. It was one of those interest free purchase things I did 6-7 years ago to get a TV and an PS. The point is low risk, You are also taking a risk investing in chain link because of how volatile it is. Loaning someone money is less risky, Because they are legally bound to pay it back, And most people do. Lets even add inflation. Banks make so much money they can pay for the cost of inflation, Which doesn't effect their net profit that much.

Right, But jews are very careful with their money. They are buying chainlink, But only with their profits. Jews have practiced methods to keep and gain money, to never have negative losses.
