a lot of different in-house ETFs that they don't charge you to trade at all, maybe 50 or 75. the whole gambit of corporate bonds and muni bonds with a standard account. for everyday trading probably others are better.

ETF is like an index fund but trades like a stock. Doesn’t really matter if you’re investing long term. Just get the total stock market index and STFU

DYOR
It means it's a mutual fund that can be traded in exchanges just like stocks. Most ETFs track an index such as the S&P 500 or the DJI.

Spend at least 30 minutes on Youtube before dumping 150K on an ETF. Are you gonna rely on what the NEETs in this board will tell you?

>>16221530
This is passable advice. Just choose a major index if you're not gonna research shit.

ive tried to dyor but i dont understand a lot of it. i just know that there are many tickers. i think spy is the most popular one so should i just buy that?

If you trust the stock market will go higher, sure. Are you long on general American stocks?
Also SPY is from SPDR, not from Vanguard. They both track the S&P 500 though.

Man, it's hard to tell. If I were you I'd spend a couple hundred talking to a professional you can ask all your questions. I can't tell you where to invest if I don't know your investment profile and you provided zero information about yourself.
