I know you faggots have a combined IQ of 60, so shame on me of thinking higher of you, but I'm telling you right now, if you know what's coming get out of ETH.

1. Best case, they delay ETH 2.0 (likely) and nothing happens.
2. These retarded faggots implement the changes and absolutely kill ethereum and any other dapps on it.

Splitting up a blockchain into separate little chains and then basically creating a hadoop database is imminent failure. They're destroying the ACID principle in databases which they haven't done a good job either way. But this one is really going to sink the ship. I'm fucking calling it. By the middle of 2021, Ethereum will be another shitcoin in the dust if they go through with even half the shit they're proposing.

Every change. EVERY change. On this list, will doom a project to failure. And they're implement. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

Ethereum does a shit job at atomicity and you can observe it in for loops and pushes to arrays, particularly with memory management done through memory arrays and then pushing those values into a storage array. Basically, if you add more than three steps to an ethereum array call, it begins to shit the bed.

The one thing, the ONLY thing Ethereum did super well was free calls to the EVM. Now they've fucked that up and want that to cost shit.

This is also going to fuck over the only group that actually cared about Ethereum, the miners. Vitalik will be known as one of the biggest failures of cryptocurrency, bigger than BITTCONNNNEEECCCTTT and anyone even associated with this faggot is going down with the ship.

the rest of my reaction images are either hot girls, weird stuff or just stuff that really isn't appropriate. The skeleton is the most appropriate image I could find.

Yeah OP youre just an anonymous poster on a Mongolian Death Worm Fan Club Image Board but you're smarter than all the thousands of ETH developers put together, sounds legit, thanks OP, FUD harder next time.

LYING SCAMMING SCUMBAG BOBOS GO AWAY.
ETH is unironically about to 2x and test the $285 resistance and you are trying to get people to sell. Fuck off.

I really don't see what you're bitching about. Asynchronous communication is nothing new and you've already mentioned Hadoop as a parallel. So they're increasing the number of transactions per second via parallelization at the cost of increasing the time to verify everything is ok by having the beacon chain needing to communicate with each worker node. This isn't experimental computer science they're working on and frankly you're tone is alarmist and I bet you've got shorts open.

This doesn't really apply here but when talking of a massive network parition like eth 2.0, they're throwing all their eggs in one basket, consistency while sacraficing everything in the availability department. Availability of data was Ethereum's strong point for a long time and what made a lot of projects, possible in the long term. When it costs to retrieve data, in terms of tokens or fiancial cost, when simple reads should be free, you're throwing any stand-alone projects under the bus. This is like saying the tap water in your apartment used to be free, now it costs by the liter. Unfeasible for any development that isn't trying to replicate what AWS couldn't do better or cheaper.

Eth 2.0 is built on top of of Eth. Old slow dapps will not suffer

Look it up. They literally mentioned some contracts would break. There are backwards compatibility issues.
