This is the kind of essential talent Chainlink hired with their 700k sell-offs. Dan Forbes, """developer advocate""". A useless, made-up position. He's basically been hired, on a full-time expensive salary, to be a janny on the empty official discord, to supposedly drum up interest and 'coach' inexistent developers. And here's the kicker: he has zero dev experience and no background in blockchain or even generally in tech, not even in PR or marketing, no, in fact his only experience is having a 'culinary degree', he's a fucking cook lmao. You literally can't make this shit up. To make up for how useless his position is and how incompetent he is, he has resorted to fake being active, so he can show Sergey he's doing... something. You know, it's the equivalent of pretending you're writing down something in class when the teacher passes by your desk and you don't want to get caught. So for example he set up a couple of Youtube tutorials during the hackathon to supposedly help new devs, except they're unwatchable and actually serve no purpose. Half his time in the employment of Chainlink is spent on the discord acting like a pajeet robot spamming emojis and forced, fake-ass positivity that no one is buying, which is exactly everything Chainlink refused to be publicly until now, fake and empty instead of legit but stealth. You should be worried because this is the stage in the startup development when they should be focusing on what truly matters instead of throwing money out the window on fluff hires like this, especially with all the serious features like staking and reputation not making any progress. If this was any other project, /biz/ would rightfully be calling the bullshit for what it is.
