Silver is good as a store of wealth, your portfolio should consist of atleast 10% silver / gold. If financial turbulence happens your precious metals will increase in price and rather than losing money you will probably make gains.

I have about £20000 in gold, bought it in 2013 for quite cheap, as I thought it was the best bet. Imo silver is a bit too unstable and reliant on industrial demand, but maybe it is undervalued atm. Time will tell

Absolutely. Never measure silver in terms of dollars. The dollar value of silver is irrelevant. The entire point of buying silver is because you want money and wealth for when fiat collapses. Silver "mooning" isn't going to be like a stock mooning. In a currency reset/collapse silver might go to say 200$/oz and you have 300 ounces. So you have 60k. Hardly making it.... but in a reset you will have a deflationary collapse of all asset prices. So that 60k will be like having 60k in the 1940's where the avg NYC rent was 40$/month.
