Thinks 9/11 happened organically and wasn't stopped because the gov't agencies wanted to take credit for themselves in a competition (NSA vs FBI vs CIA, etc.). Trump wants to abuse the powers the gov't granted themselves post 9/11 (Probably true, but why not play by the rules outlined). He basically says the abuses of American rights were the result of paranoia post 9/11 and that some aspects of the Patriot act are legit and some are a result of an over zealous admin taking advantage of fear. Mainly daily stories of working in intelligence, reminiscing his glory days. Pretends the government was clean until the Bush admin and that Cheney is the real puppet master. MSM is backed into corners by gov't, not linked at the hip, like they have no responsibility for shaping public perception and are just held hostage. There is more but it just feels like a three hour book plug. He really says nothing that anyone wouldn't already infer. He sounds like a shill for corporate America. Makes me think he was cut a deal to not be suicided or he is a corporate/gov't planted propagandist.

Interesting podcast for sure but the guy sounds so smug, like he’s this living legend gracing us with some forbidden knowledge where his word is final.
