I would say so. It helps spread your risk and once you do get more than one project up and running, then you have more security for cash flow too.
If one of your projects slums down in the winter time, the other two can help average the revenue up. Whereas if you had just one project you would be at the mercy of how well that preformed year round.
It's the advice I give to many people.

>>15985465
It really depends what kind of project you're working on, how much time is needed for that project, etc. For developing a game, that can vary too.
I did that last year. And I know that it takes a ton of time. It's very time consuming and I was working constantly on it. I personally found something else and put those project on a shelf to leverage later when I have a fair means to market it correctly.
Is your game targeting a niche audience of some kind?

Think of how you'll implement the marketing in advance.

I just looked, if I wanted to host multiple domains through namecheap, it the middle of the way plan would cost more than the plan I was going to use in A1 Hosting. Not only that, after the first term the price would likely increase and that plan doesn't even come with email service. You have to add emails on for another ~$120 a year. That's over ~$430 for the middle of the way plan.

If an anon is trying a new project out on wordpress and it doesn't need a domain email, then it would be worth it. And I would even recommend it. But for the long run, I would say no. For someone who needs multiple websites, email (this is a must for professional business), and good bandwidth available all for the right price, this is not it desu

>cryptorelated
Not a bad area to be in at all since it's still the pioneer days for it when it comes to commercial utility.
Best thing to do to make it more marketable is to reduce the amount of uncertainty people feel about towards cryto and business. Provide simple and concise information on how your service does what it does related to crypto. Also make the potential customer feel more comfortable with crypto in general by providing short snippets of information that you feel is relevant and short snippets dispelling any common misconceptions people might have towards crypto in the context of business use.
That would all go on the sales page or maybe Q&A.

For my strategy on marketing I'm following something called the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) but adapting it for my niche market (which isn't necessarily tech related). I did research back in university with the TAM which proved it's value to me and I think you should look into the TAM as a frame work in finding the best way to sell your service to companies. It's solid stuff that helps explain what variables allow markets to react more positively to accepting technology. Lots of research to back it up too.
One of the biggest variables is perceived ease of use, so you would want to emphasize how your service makes a job, that would otherwise be either impossible or difficult without your service, easier for the company / their clients.
Best of luck anon, a toast to you.

I have multiple projects going at once because statistically only a few make it. Plus a few are more I want to pursue this but it's unlikely (buying impact or stardom). And I prefer having something going on constantly to keep me going and motivated.

>> No.15987291

>>15987250
it's okay to let a project fail if it's not gaining any traction. but splitting up your time is not the same thing.
There's no way to make a competitive product by only spending a few hours on it. You're just lying to yourself by saying "chances are one of my 50 pieces of utter shit will make it".
Risking it by working on something instead of a job is about accepting the risk that it probably won't make anything. It's not about lying to yourself about the chances by spreading yourself thin.
If its about experience in many different areas, that's valuable, and do what you want but if any one of your 17 projects is a good idea, you need to drop all the other 16 and focus on that one.

Don't feel too bad, anon. I started 3 websites. One of them very quickly started making me ~$200-300 a month, but it had upkeep associated which at the time I couldn't deal with, so I sold it for a very cheap $1500. The jabroni who bought it broke everything and destroyed the traffic, he can't even get the Amazon links to work. Now I have the time and I know I could be taking in $500/mo especially during holiday season but some retard owns it who killed it.

The other 2 sites were dudes. One makes me nothing, the other ~$20/mo which is just enough to pay my hosting fees. Overall I probably put ~300 hrs of work in, MOST of it on the site I sold and the site that makes me nothing. Feels bad.

Hmm still not talking about your active project/s anon and I know how I work and what works for me and having 17 projects I cycle thru until they all get where I want them. You assume I will drop them all which isnt a goal or plan unless it's not doable (buying stardom) otherwise it'd going to keep being worked on til it's done. None of these projects are get done in a day since im not rushing them. 5 are video games and 1 is a movie. There's also the book. Add in buying various business and opening a gas station here I have alot im working towards. Now again for the 3rd 4th 5th idk time what projects are you actively working on/towards?
