I'll be home from work in Dec. I plan on going to a gun show. I'm doing some SHTF prepping. I need more weapons. My budget is 5k. I want very reliable handguns and ARs at an affordable price. I just dont understand what the difference is between and high quality gun and a shit one. What can you recommend me biz? I would hope to come away with 2 pistols and 2 handguns and then be able to stockpile some ammo and accessories. Any suggestions?

Firearms aren't really a very good investment. They might appreciate in value some, but you'll have spent time and money to maintain them in pristine investment grade condition. Guns are devices meant to be used, would you speculate on sets of wrenches?

$8 AR magazines were selling for $100 a pop after Sandy Hook. $50 Mosins are now selling for $350+. There are few guns today that wont be worth more next year except for ARs since the market is over saturated with them. Guns are some of the only things you can buy, use for some years, then resell for higher than what you paid for them if you know what to buy - no your jimenez 32acp wont be worth more in the future.
