Couldn't you sell gold at a higher value if there was a recession due to inflation?
Why should I buy precious metals? A great hyper-inflaction in the USA in 5-years (the only one that would justify the increase in the price of gold and silver) is unlikely. So could you explain to me why I should keep all capital in precious metals blocked expecting an x3 in 30 years (maybe)? it would not be smarter to protect yourself from inflation with short term bonds and to speculate on rising biotechs and take 7% per year of the SP500 ?.
Is it wise to keep capital in an asset that does not produce value but only produces value on hope / dream / fantasy of 30 year economic apocaliptic disasters?

Diversification.

>Gold has spiritual / religious significance. As does silver.
>It will never be worth nothing. If you don't own at least some along with your crypto, you're a retarded manchild who hasnt seen the real world.

Do you not understand what diversification means?
Stocks can also crash instantly when the bubble pops like 1929.
Only reason precious metals aren't rising in price just like LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE, is due to price suppression. If it wasnt suppressed it would be doing exactly what bitcoin did. But the bankers dont want that because then it would cause a run on the banks and people would stop messing with scam stocks and 1% savings accounts and just hoard PMs.

Anything else?

they have however recovered.
And 1929 was not a bubble like this was a black swan.
Moreover if we compare the profits obtained holdig the precious metals with those obtained holding the SP500 from 1929 to today there is no comparison. The stock market wins.

I omit your conspiracy theory that leaves the time you find ... of course the Jews are suppressing gold if they do not suppress it it would go on the moon ahahahah you are ridiculous. Why should they suppress it? Why should people buy it? what is the use of gold if there is a paper currency, digital Paypal and even Bitcoin? What should people with gold beside hedges?

You don't keep ALL your money in PMs you stupid fuck. It should compromise a small percentage of your portfolio (5%-15%) as a safety net or hedge against inflation. PMs is money you want to secure rather than risk.

>portfolio (5%-15%) as a safety net or hedge against inflation
What is only 15%?
and the rest where do you keep it?
Also here on biz they make silver look like a bargain but is it really like that? Are you sure that by staying in silver we don't lose any other great deals?

>> No.15968039

>What is only 15%?
I don't know, however much money/assets you have. You don't have to follow a strict percentage if you don't want to. You can stack until your satisfied then continue with riskier investments
>and the rest where do you keep it?
Wherever I want to. Stocks, bonds, CDs, Real Estate, crypto, or whatever else has value. If you mean where am I physically keeping, then it's in a safe in my house.
>Are you sure that by staying in silver we don't lose any other great deals?

You're always missing out on something, I don't let that thought even cross my mind because it's a waste of time and energy. There is nothing saying you can stack ONLY silver/gold. If you think something else will make you more money then go for it.

PMs are a STORE OF VALUE not an INVESTMENT. Learn the difference.
