Unironically, coding. I say often that "learn to code" is a meme, as it is, but coding as a hobby is a fun and rewarding practice. You probably won't make it professionally, at least for a good chunk of your life, but it's a great thing to learn nonetheless.

Pros:
- Practical, polishes the noggin
- Fun, dopamine rushes for solving problems
- Impressive, people will take interest
Cons:
- None

I don't care.

All that and you couldn't respond to a simple point: coding and programming inspires an image of a slack jawed faggot to most women. The only reason I even mentioned that is because the thread originates from how women view men's hobbies. I didn't even suggest to change your hobby; just letting you know that women wouldn't give a shit.

yea, so youtube has pretty accurate tag features when you go to upload a video. basically I knew what artists were going up in popularity that correlated with the type of beat I was uploading. Then when someone would search for a beat from an artist in my tags they would be more apt to click my video because of a similar artist in the title to whom they searched.

>> No.15961223

>>15961201

I don't follow, you used other people's names in your titles or tags? Also, what's to prevent someone from just stealing the beat and not paying you?

>> No.15961247

>>15961223
No, for instance if someone was looking for a Gunna type instrumental I would put Lil Keed, Lil Gotit and other similar artists in my tags because those artists are correlated with Gunna and when they became bigger I got a lot more traction. Another important part of this is strong subscribers, just need to build reliable viewers.
I've had tons of beats stolen from me, even people reuploading them to their channels as their own beats. The biggest one was a beat that was stolen from me by a Russian group and their music video with my beat got over 20M views. I reached out to management and they paid me $35 for a lease. Lol at the end of the day its the people who aren't assholes that you somewhat need to rely on to make any type of money. In addition, have a beat tag. That helps a lot.

It’s actually an aged German Spruce (Engelmann) top, with cocobolo back and sides, which is a variety of Mexican rosewood. I left the sapwood on it, which most people take off for the full rosewood look.
>It’s very rare for acoustic or classical guitars to use maple tops since they’re too stiff, works better on electric.
The funny thing is that the back and sides are actually two veneers of cocobolo sandwiching an equally thin maple board to give it more stiffness which also provides a hybrid sort of tone with a little more volume and punch.
>For reference the neck and headstock are mahogany and the fingerboard is indeed ebony.
Frets are jumbo width mid height, things like frets and nut width are always bigger on a classical than an electric. Finish is hand-rubbed French Polish. I don’t have enough stock to sell them yet, but once I move and buy all my tools I can start. Will post on /biz/ and make an insta.

honestly it isn't like this. degenerates would want you to think that, but, everyone is into everything. fitness, gaming, bushcrafts, baking, guns, ebay, you fucking name it there are girls into it. drinking isn't the only thing. for example, 420girls are top tier and dont get drunk and "accidentally" sleep with randos

Moving glowing hot metal under the force of your hammer to make something functional out of a hunk of steel is incredibly rewarding. Plus, you don't have to be very good to make simple things that look good. Normies eat that craftsmanship shit up.

Imagine your hobbies being based around how much approval you can get from people. Holy shit. One thing to impress people with your career, as you will get respect AND support yourself. But after you get all that, why wouldn't you do something that you truly enjoy for its intrinsic value?

I work at a lumber yard, where I get any wood I want for basically free, I capitalized on this by making wooden swords and shields out of scrap lumber.
I’m getting pretty good, and my wares sell themselves.
Most money I ever got out of a sword was $100, and I can make them in just a few hours.
I’d keep making swords even if they didn’t sell, I really enjoy making them lol

Some words of advice gentlemen, dont ever, ever do anything in life with the aim of impressing and attracting women. Not only will it have the adverse effect but it will poison you slowly over time. The more you chase pussy the more you pull away from your own soul.

Happiness is when what you do, say and think are all in harmony.

>Impressive, people will take interest
I'm from /g/ and have been programming as a hobby since high school. I'm currently work full-time as a software developer and at my job I have yet to meet one person who codes for fun like I do. I think during my entire life I maybe met like three people total who think writing programs is fun out of all the people who put up with it because the money happens to be good right now. It's becoming the type of thing that even other nerds make fun of you for liking, like Shadowrun or Warhammer. And 20 years from now, because of the things they teach at school these days, it will be seen as feminine, and engaging in feminine hobbies is a great chick repellent.

It's definitely a practical thing, maybe even fun for people like me, but impressive? Hell nah, unless you're an EE chad like some of the other posters in this thread. And it has cons; you will fuck up your back and eyes for sure, and possibly your BMI in either direction (I used to be dangerously underweight because I'd forget to eat while coding).

Here's a little tip. A woman will take interest in your hobbies because they like you; they won't like you because of your hobbies.

>> No.15969747 [DELETED]

1. FIND A FIELD THAT YOU CAN PROFIT FROM THAT ONLY REQUIRES YOUR WILLPOWER TO LEARN. YOU HAVE THE INTERNET TO LEARN FROM. THAT WILL BE YOUR HOBBY. DROP YOUR EMOTIONS AND TAKE SMALL STEPS.

2. WOMEN DONT CARE ABOUT PERSONALITY OR HOW SMART YOU ARE, JUST HOW YOU LOOK WHICH IS HEIGHT AND FACE.

i was passed up by a fat guy who was taller than me because she thinks im a "mess". im like 5'3. ive seen a guy who had all the looks and still works as a cook but social opportunities were abundant for him.

Women love you if:

Ok lads, I /madeit/ since 2017 bullrun and have tried many hobbies. Here is a quick run down + if they will get you a gf.

>fitness
Mountain biking is top tier, you will have fun and keep fit. Every nice country has beautiful bike tracks.
>Adrenaline related
Skydiving is based, great for normiebook photos and impressing normies. (Only good to start conversation, no-one cares after that)
>traveling
Obviously fun, but I guess not an option if you dont have lots of time and money. You WILL meet a gf travelling.
>Aviation
This is based tier and the ultimate redpill. You will get to socialize with very smart and rich people at aeroclubs. I have never met a girl that isn't impressed when I take her for a date that has a surprise flight.

Do you even play? I play Electric, acoustic and classical.
That's an Aristides, IMO the best electrics in the world, the whole guitar is one piece. Some extreme finesse is required to roll one of these off the line.
