It leveraged Bitcoin to get some brand recogniztion but it isn't a blockchain or cryptocurrency and the founders have been ''de-risking'' or really just cashing out their hundreds of millions. Only noobs and other retards think it's a great buy because it is ''cheap''.

XRP only does some suprise pumps once in a while and then bleeds out the rest of the time. It's not even worth getting into the pumps imo because you'd have to have crazy timing. It's far more lucrative to wait for the pump to turn into a bleed and short it.
