heads up dude, having a baby is going to change your wife a lot, in ways that you just can't anticipate. it's going to change the way she thinks/feels about you too. whatever she said in the past about not caring that you didn't have it together financially, that all changes when the baby is born. she might not even understand it intellectually herself, but it will be expressed on an emotional level and she'll find that for some reason....she's just on into you anymore.
