As someone who has been wearing a replica of a Rolex for over 2 years now, why does anyone bother buying the real thing even if they can afford it? Isn't it just a waste of money? Unless you're going to let some fag microscope it or something like that, it looks the exact fucking same.

I cannot believe that people are willing to piss away money when $300 gets you the exact same look of $40,000. Jesus Christ.

I should honestly thank people who are stupid enough to pay 10s of thousands, because it contributes to the marketing and ensures it's a luxury brand (and the brand makes nicer looking watches).

Then thanks to all the retards who paid that much, I get to spend $300 and get the exact same benefit. LMAO

Well, if it's fake it's not legit, right?

If you meant the most realistic type of fake, then I guarantee the common search terms you'd use on Google to find them would yield reliable fakes. As for mine, I got it off of Kijiji (sort of like Craigs List in Canada), probably from a guy who bought it from those chink suppliers that I mentioned earlier.

It's not hard to fake a watch/it's harder to find a replica that doesn't look real.

There is a noticable difference between replicas and the real thing. If you've handled both you'd know. Also the crystal on a genuine Rolex will last nearly forever, unlike cheap Chinese garbage that will scratch easily. Rolex is a sports watch, these cheapskate replicas don't hold a candle whatsoever to actual real world rugged use. You can also send your Rolex in for reconditioning anytime and have it brought back to factory condition 15-20 years down the road if you so desire. They hold value exceptionally compared to any other brand. If bought used your cost of actual ownership is quite low. Comparable to a $1000 watch that lost 90% of value in two years or ownership. Cheap Chinese garbage or beautiful everlasting future family heirloom. The choice is yours.
