Look at BTC's difficulty vs USD price, what is this divergence at the end of this year? The difficulty has doubled since July yet the price is dropping? Doesn't the difficulty growing indicate investment in mining hardware? Are we seeing mining investment leading into the halving next year?

hashrate is investment in hardware, big boys don't turn it off when the price dips. You don't buy millions of dollars of hardware for this shit unless you're bullish long term.
