Assuming you actually are interested.
#1) robinhood is asstier, you dont actually own your crypto and cant transfer
#2)set up a gemini/coinbase (for te free airdrop gibs)/etc (coinbase fees are bad, but thats not important for your interests)
#3) you need to buy x amount of bitcoin (and maybe ethereum if you want to diversify).
DO NOT FALL FOR THE ALTCOIN SHILLS (yet)
When alt season comes, all fecund alts wil moon. You just have to sruvive and make meager gains til then.
#4) you need a place to trade altcoins. Preferably without kyc, but know that you might as well pay your crypto taxes. You probably wont make enough to register anyways.
In the old days the golden circle was poloniex, bittrex and idk maybe some shitcoin exchange like cryptopia (LOL)
Nowadays its stuff like binance cryptogre some bts-exchanges etc. Find one with decent overall exchange volume (check coinmarketcap) that dosent look fucking manipulated to hell like p2pb2b (empty order books but fucking unreal levels of volume)
#5) buy some alts moving sideways and slowly moving upwards on increasing volume. Buy, hold, sell.
Never all-in anything. All gains to btc. When bitcoin starts ranging for new highs, the alt cycles will get more volatile and the waves will move fromt eh higher mcap alts to the lower ones, as noobs hunt for "undervalued" (read: pre-pumped) assetts o stash their cash, addicted to ez gains. This will dry up as you see worse and worse shit taking the stage (bitconnect). By the time the bitbeans and mooncoins are being shilled like wildfire, you should be completely out of alts. The cycle is over and you will be left a bagholder if you try the HODL strat. Sell bitcoin from 100k-200k and legit 100% forget alts.

>underdog crypto
On the offchance this isn't bait you should not be buying any crypto until you have a basic understanding of how bitcoin, hashing, key pairs, etc. works on a high level and be able to store crypto securely.

Invest in index fund (vanguard is best). Ignore crypto shills, ignore pajeets, ignore trying to beat the market.

All that matters is how much you put in and how long it is in for
