Has it actually accomplished anything in the last 2 years?

If I say this in a really whiny, pathetic, nerdy voice, I bet it sounds just like you.

It achieved meme-status unfortunately. Once that happens its a chaotic mix of sarcastic chainlink posters, mixed with tiny cohort of real supporters, sadly all that winds up dragging in the great unwashed masses who are sitting in hot stinky rooms with desk fans blowing on their fat who unironically think they're going to make it. (hint, they won't).

Chainlink is being heavily shilled because RLC iEXEC has took away several partnerships from Chainlink.
It seems companies rather work with iEXEC instead of Chainlink.
After that a lot of Link OG's sold their stack and bought RLC.
This caused a lot of intensity within the LINK community.
Rumor goes it is war between the 2 projects

Besides "muh partnerships", is someone or some enterprise actually using it?

Currently, not that we know of. The hype around link revolves around the fact that it is the missing piece of the crypto puzzle, and chainlink will facilitate enterprise adoption. It's a ricky bet for sure, but with great risk comes great upside potential
