My issue is however that my job isn't in a city but in a commerce town outside of it so there's very little incentive for me to move back into the city. From the suburb I'm in, it takes me about 20 minutes to drive to work and because I'm going away from the city for work, I never see much traffic.

Lived in Toronto 5 years ago. Moved to Waterloo to go to school. Thought about moving back to Toronto. Nothing but somalians, arabs, and pakis everywhere. Opting for Miami Beach instead since it's unironically cheaper and has hotter girls/better opportunities for my industry.

Environment is a largely underrated factor for determining one's success. A city like Toronto, with overinflated rent prices, high taxes, high traffic, low-paying jobs (comparing USD to CAD, taking a job in Canada guarantees you're being paid atleast 30% less than you would be in the United States, and that's not even factoring the taxes), long winters, poor air quality, violent crime skyrocketing due to poverty and nogs left unchecked, as well as simply having a low number of quality girls to have around, really offers no incentive to stay in Canada.

Over 50% of the world's billionaires are American. A good portion were not born American or wealthy. Canada is effectively a water supply / refugee camp for the Americas with plenty of propaganda and misinformation to convince us that the USA is evil, dangerous, and that ORANGEMAN BAD. There are however caveats to this such as not every state is the same and you're pretty much fucked if you don't support Israel's interests.

I am slightly biased since I have a naive admiration for Miami that's bordered on obsessive levels since I was 8 years old but the favorable corporate laws and instagram culture make it a desirable location to network and build a business.
