Making it is a lot easier if you have more money to invest, so let's give each other advice on what we should do to make more money from wagie jobs.
Right now I'm 1 year and a few months into my first job after graduating with an engineering degree. I'm a "financial analyst" doing mostly data analytics, not financial reporting, and I make 70k usd. What kind of positions should I be looking at? Is going back to school worth it? I don't think I'd want to do data analytics and go deeper into math, the "algorithms" I work with at my job are mostly addition and subtraction.

Industrial engineering, and it's more data science, that's just my job title, it isnt 100% fitting. Also, you take what you can, I was offered the role through previous work with the company, didnt apply specifically.
Pivoting into some sort of design engineering role is an option, but seems like a lateral move. Maybe good to show I have varied experiences or something though.
