If a person really does a good job I’ll tip 20%. That means being helpful, friendly, not annoying, getting drinks over to the table quickly, filling my water glass, and not making me feel like I’m being rushed out. 15% for decent but not great service. 10% or less to send a message. Tipping is good but we should feel more comfortable not tipping the “expected” amount.
