so i sold 75% of my LINK just now and i'm looking for a 3 month low cap investment until i buy back in when LINK dumps to <$1 in a couple months.

Buying other things to "recoup" your investment almost never works. Don't do it. Take out the money if you think the price is going down further, but don't just emotionally go into some other project.
