Has anyone here actually tried some of the BSV apps? After that thread yesterday I decided to check out the on chain video player and I must say I didn't expect this at all. It is actually a working product where you can stream videos uploaded on the blockchain. I know it is paid for by Kelvin to lure people in so he can dump his bsv stack on them, but still it is a working product.

Here's a three part documentary of Faketoshi. (sorry, it was the only video I could find)

Oh and off-topic, but people like saying BSV is full of shills. Meanwhile BCH is literally starting to pay people to publicly shill for them. Pic related is Paul Wasensteiner, iirc he was behind the Bitcoin Foundation, he's always been prominent figure in the BCH "community."
So here's proof BCH is literally employing paid shills. I don't actually care, it's all marketing to me and I'm not a cuck who hates competition, I just think it's hypocritical people accuse BSV when there's zero evidence of actual paid shilling when BCH has officially and publically done so now.
Even BTC with Adam Back, who's quoted on Twitter for having "a team of people dedicated to dispelling falsehoods" (paraphrasing here) admitted to shilling and no one cares.

nobody gives a fuck about btc being private anymore - we have alts for that. all that matters is 24/7 network run by miners/nodes so that mastercard doesn't have to host servers anymore and the fed can chalk up bad QE/QT to "code bugs"

also tell me how the most secure network to ever exist is "crippled" - it's no longer a payment system for coffee but a settlement system for major financial transactions

BSV will be the true ethrum killer and also king of coinmarketcap 2019
Do you not think that the Craig Wright team has not been working hard? Guess what? It has

what we have here is an opportunity of gold. a great possible victory if you might think
have you ever looked at a token or coin and thought to yourself that you would have purchased it if it was early btc? i know what it feels like to buy the early stuff - i am a big holder myself actually
and when i look at craig and do my own research into him, he is definitely the maker of btc
all of the signs are there for him to be the true mind behind the excllent product. so if you had this hope in the past, you may wish to consider what you have not been paying attention to up until this time
me? i am all in
if you are smart you will be also

it's simple it haven't even begun to gain any adoption and it's already completely centralized. obviously centralized services scale very well. we always knew that. it just kills what makes bitcoin special.

>> No.15489649

If a single person literally wrote the perfect Bible people like those you'd find at Blockstream would call that centralized too because they pay attention to everything else but the core message. Bitcoin works as designed and once had the potential to change the world. Once bad actors figured this out they fought like hell to bastardize it and spread confusion and lies. No more, we've given the industry almost 11 years to act and now we act within law.

no you don't get it... bitcoin is the only trustless permisisonless publicly auditable ledger to date that is secure.

it could not be secure if it had fraction of it's hashrate like the shitforks and it couldn't be trustless and permissionless if it wasn't decentralized.

sv is an abomination. an attempt to subvert the bitcoin brand and tame bitcoin into something central authority can control. fuck that shit.

first, get your fud right, blockstream develops lightning, a layer 2 solution, they have no commits on bitcoin code, segwit is a malleability fix and bitcoin does not need (((scaling))). In fact, scaling makes your coin devaluate
second, nobody is crying, people are MOCKING you
blockchain is a censorship resistant database, you don't need that for the majority of apps
also, the funny part about the censorship resistant part, is that it does not work if you somehow manage to centralize the nodes, say, by maybe jacking up the block limit... LOL. node control gives you total control over what gets stored and what doesn't.

All these big names in crypto are nothing but government actors sticking to the script - all the way from Roger Ver, to Greg Maxwell, to Jihan Wu, to CSW, to Trump. It's truly astonishing that people are blinded to the fact that these last 10 years have been planned. It all leads to a one world currency, in which the blockchain is completely controlled/censored by multiple governments/intelligence agencies - but my bet is the USA and NSA will hold the key to the kingdom. With Q, Trump, trade war, CSW, Tesla, NSA, BitCoin (SV) - it's just too obvious. It just goes to show how stupid and fallible human beings are. BitCoin will only succeed because of greed. With the way Trump has been able to literally do whatever the fuck he wants to other countries (I'm not complaining about that), it's clear the BitCoin is the nuclear weapon of the new/incoming financial system - and that Trump will bring it in. All countries who don't get on board and follow it are guaranteed to collapse. Only the US is capable of enforcing a new global financial system of BitCoin that will eventually be managed by the strongest AI. A 'brain' is literally taking over the planet. Everything else in politics/news is just noise. It's evident that CSW is 'their guy'. Not many people understood what actually happened when he 'failed' to show proof in signing. He was able to sign a new message using 2 different hashes, with one being from an old Satoshi transaction. If he didn't have the Satoshi private keys, the collision in SHA256 that he executed can only be done through a backdoor / cracking the security. SHA256 was made and patented by the NSA. over 20 years ago. CSW's grandad was a founding member of the NSA. This whole crypto shit show is all an act. From every single alt coin, to every single person. All to bring in totally tyranny with BSV. Yeah, people will get filthy rich, including myself by making the right informed decision. It's over. BSV won.

"A higher limit can be phased in once we have actual use closer to the limit and make sure it's working OK.

Eventually when we have client-only implementations, the block chain size won't matter much. Until then, while all users still have to download the entire block chain to start, it's nice if we can keep it down to a reasonable size.

With very high transaction volume, network nodes would consolidate and there would be more pooled mining and GPU farms, and users would run client-only. With dev work on optimising and parallelising, it can keep scaling up.
